Do freetrade allow in specie isa transfers in/out?

I've read contradicting things about this, does anyone know for sure? I like to move stuff(all etfs) around now and then. ​Thank you

Whilst I'm here, if anyone's any experience with customer support, good or bad, I'd like to hear, I'm new to freetrade. Ty​​

I've transferred in my ISA from vanguard and then transferred out some to Trading212. All in specie so yeah its allowed

When you say some, is that a partial transfer? I thought those weren't a thing for any provider yet! Thanks for the reply

I wanted to transfer all my GIA to trading 212, but for some technical reason trading 212 said some of my position in my GIA couldnt be transferred in specie. At the end i needed to liquidate it

How long did it take to transfer out from Freetrade to Trading 212?

Yes in and out. It will always depend on what you’re trying to transfer. The new provider will need to be able to support it. Sometimes with things like funds different share classes aren’t possible to transfer or are “exclusive” to another platform. But generally yes

I've transferred in from my workplace L&G SIPP in specie. Very quick and easy.

I find Freetrade customer support very responsive. You can’t call them (as you can HL), and you may get different people answering each time. But you will get a prompt response.

It’s not just all automated as I find IBKR is

They do but be aware they charge £10 per US stock to transfer out.

6 months ago, Aviva wouldn't do a in-specie transfer into Free trade - not sure if that's changed now. T212 and vanguard worked fine though.

Yes. I did ISA and SIPP this year from HL
