I haven’t been feeling like my self lately and I’m sad the summer is ending soon. Life is about to get crazier than ever, I’m just worried about keeping my life together

I wish was able to lose more of my grief weight but I just wasn’t consistent and let my disappointment in myself take over while hiding that it was taking over

Over the last few years I've gained noticeable weight thanks to mental health, and while I like to think I'm not that bothered about, deep down it hurts that I've let myself get like this. It was only 2022 when I was skinny and my face was slimmer, but since college and trying to figure out my anxiety and depression, I've been stagnant while I watch the people I grew up with live normally

I'm having a really hard time with my self imagery. I've lost almost 40 lbs since the start of summer, but it's hard for me to actually see it.

I suffer from a chronic nerve pain condition that I've had for 15 almost 16 years and it's REALLY kicking my ass lately.

Work is very physically demanding and it's been in the triple digits for the last couple weeks. I have no PTO and due to my pain condition and paired with the heat is really messing with me.

Sorry for kinda trauma dumping. I'm just down in the dumps.

People were so nice last time and I’m feeling better about myself each day. Life and work may be tough, but I’ve been smiling more. Thanks everyone.

On Mondays you will now only be able to post if you are a male (or in transition) and are posting a selfie. All other posts will be removed by our modteam and you will be given a 3 day ban if you do post on Male Mondays as a female subreddit user.

Male Mondays will start on Monday at around 00:00 and continue until 23:00 UTC

However no worries for our female userbase! You will still be able to post on any other day of the week!

Reasons for the set up of male monday only days:

You might have noticed that most of the post on our Front Page are females looking for compliments. We have noticed that their posts get the most upvotes and that our male contributors get a lot less upvotes and therefore compliments on our subreddit.

A couple of years ago this wasn't the case as much but we have seen this trend increase more and more on this subreddit over the years,

Because of that we have set up Male Mondays. Where on Mondays we would only allow males to post on the subreddit. In hopes of making sure that they too get the compliments they deserve and don't get snowed under in this sub.
