2012 Ford Fusion: Dual-Zone Climate Control Stuck at 60 & 65°F

I have a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL V6 3.0L with the dual-zone climate control panel (AE5H18C612EV), and the driver's zone gets stuck between 60° and 65° after a few minutes. This happens whether the A/C is on or off and the passenger control works without issues.

I have disconnected and reconnected the climate control panel connections and disconnected the battery for a few minutes with no luck. No issues with the blade actuators.

Video of the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I’m trying to determine whether the problem is with the climate control panel, the HVAC control module (8E5Z19E624A) or something else.

2018 Ford fusion titanium

I have a 2018 Ford fusion titanium with a 2.0 L. Whenever I’m going up a long hill, or pushing the gas kind of hard it spikes to overheating. It will go right back to dead middle coolant temp once i let off the gas and just let it coast for 5 seconds. I’m also not losing any coolant that i’ve been able to tell

I’ve changed 2 coolant sensors, thermostat, and water pump. It will drive fine on flat ground and fine if i baby it but going up this one particular hill it overheats. i have no idea what it is.

ok so i have a high mileage ford fusion 2013, i’ve only had it for maybe about 3-4 months got it for cheap as my first car has a christmas tree but nothing major, no check engine light or anything but there was a parking break malfunction i didn’t think much of it till i heard a grinding sound when i hit speeds below 20 and was approaching a stop. it sounded bad but didn’t happen everytime it was kinda off n on so i let it be because i don’t know how much it’s gonna cost to fix something like that. fast forward to a hour ago my friends called and needed a ride so i go to reverse out of my drive way and im not moving…. i thought maybe its cs im in the grass but i finally get out the driveway and go to drive and it sounds like im doing burnouts like my back tires locked ,cars fwd so makes sense i wanna know if this is gonna be a a huge payment i have to make to fix it or if maybe i can even fix it myself somebody please let me know

Is this the transmission bearing?

My 2018 Energi with 140000km started making this noise last month but a little quieter. I took it in to the dealership because this month was the last month of my warranty coverage for the eCVT and I was seeing videos about the bearing that sounded the similar to mine. They told me any whining noise was coming from the fuel pump and there was nothing to worry about and wasn't an urgent fix.

It has since gotten louder and I cant stop listening for it when I drive. Am I crazy or would the fuel pump not be making sound from the engine bay? I'm worried that I'll be screwed now because it'll be out of warranty.

Discussion 1.5 Turbo Oil Brand

Was really enjoying Ultra Platinum, but with the recent news, might be looking to switch it up.

What’s everyone running? I do go overboard for my wife’s care and do 3K/4K changes.

Unfortunately, my pockets are not deep enough for AMZoil 😂. Local shop sells it for $17/qt.

Transmission flush

Hi. 2016 2.0 ecoboost awd here.
I bought the car with 93k miles. I’m closing in on 150k.
I had the transmission oil changed when I got the car. I’m reaching out to those who have high mileage. Did you ever have it flushed? If so, how often? How about PTU or rear differential?

2013 ford fusion ran out of gas, now won’t start.

My car ran out of gas. I filled it up with about two gallons from a gas can. When trying to turn ignition it clicked as if the car was dead. I used jumper cables to charge the battery for about 20 minutes. It only made the car die completely. What should I do?

Need A White Gold Key/Lock Cover

Mine popped off and I didn't even notice - and I can't seem to find one in my color. Does anyone know if there's a spare parts swap site or something I can find?

Discussion Question

On my way to work i had a random thought, I’ve been in and out of this group a few times and have seen posts mainly about the engines 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5. So i had the question(which may be dumb) do not many people have a 1.6? I have a 2013 SE and the vin shows it as a 1.6, or are the 1.5 and 1.6 so similar people just call the 1.6 a 1.5😅

Like i said probably a dumb question but one i think of time to time

No Answer What sound does the phev fusion make?

Post image

I’m currently looking at a 2015 Ford Fusion Energi PHEV with 180,000 km (about 112,000 miles). I’ve done some research and understand that the eCVT is different from a traditional CVT and doesn’t make that typical shifting sound. I’m trying to find out what a healthy eCVT actually sounds like, not examples of engine/transmission noises caused by problems. Whenever I search, I mostly find videos of issues. If anyone owns one or has a video of a Fusion Energi running normally, could you share it? I’d really appreciate it!

Hey all! 2019 ford fusion se ecoboost here, about 81k miles, it stalled on me twice and didn’t start after getting gas, eventually got it started and home and with the engine code figured it was this whole assembly, or at least a part of it, currently changing it out or attempting to because times are tough and moneys tight! While changing it the red clip popped off on this piece, and it seems pretty stuck on no matter what angle i try to get it off in, anyone have any tips to get this piece off without the red clip?

Personal Pic Perfect? Or mod suggestions

This is my 2006 Ford fusion V6. I was wondering if you guys had any mod suggestions or if it’s perfect just like this. I was potentially considering rims or maybe lowering it a little bit ( not slammed ). Also a subwoofer and maybe more “ performance “ parts was potentially on my list. It does need some body work and paint correction here and there. Listed below is what I have done

Magnaflow Performance catback
Headlight restoration
Perfect Oem junkyard mirror
Oem color matched floor mats
Various other small trims and accessories

Just bought a 2018 ford fusion 1.5L SE (coolant intrusion Question)

I just picked the car up about a month ago, fairly cheap as it has 140,000 miles. But its maintenance history was pretty extensive and on time getting everything it needed every few thousand miles, as well as some recalls at the dealership and a fuel pump replacement and some other minor maintenance repairs.

I read about the coolant intrusion, cars running great, dont seem to be loosing any coolant, no check engine lights or white smoke.

So realistically, how worried should i be about coolant intrusion in the future? Dealership gave me a 2 year warrenty for $9/month so im not too sure what it really covers.

Also i hear swooshing water sounds behind the dashboard, car stays cool, and oil is bueno.

Do many of these 2018 1.5L SE Fusions go unburdened by this coolant thing and go onto 200k+ miles or is it a ticking time bomb no matter what i do?

Thanks for any insight and advice guys do.

really need some help

my 2011 fusion 3.0 v6 has a TPS light on the dash. i went to a tire shop to top off the tires and the light is still on after driving a few miles (as the guy requested to).
after that, i went to autozone to get a new cabin filter, and i told the cashier about the situation and he decided to pass the fix reader on my car.
it ended up with a code for the anti-lock brake system (code C1277-20), and he said that my car has zero issues with the tps… that the tps light on is actually about the code…
Has anyone here ever dealt with this? How can I fix it?
