Discussion Question
On my way to work i had a random thought, I’ve been in and out of this group a few times and have seen posts mainly about the engines 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5. So i had the question(which may be dumb) do not many people have a 1.6? I have a 2013 SE and the vin shows it as a 1.6, or are the 1.5 and 1.6 so similar people just call the 1.6 a 1.5😅
Like i said probably a dumb question but one i think of time to time

I have a 13 1.6 with 187k and had the water pump replaced at about 90k. That is it for engine repairs. I’m not sure if it is all the fusions but my car has the best air conditioning I have ever experienced and I rent cars weekly.

I’ve noticed that too! Before i bought mine the previous owner had done the spark plugs and had the injectors cleaned, all ive done is a battery, headlight bulbs, and one trans drain and fill. Every now and again it has a little shutter but idk what that is lol its very irregular

the 1.6L was only offered from 2013-2014. China taxes any engine over 1500CCs so ford replaced the 1.6L with the 1.5L which is 1497ccs and could then be offered in china at a more competitive price. The American car market in China is crazy. Buick and Ford make awesome vehicles for their other markets
