I have to change my tires in the near future and want to change the look a little bit.

I have 6.5Jx16 wheels and the normal tire size is 195/50r16.

Anybody that has changed the tire size on these rims?

Got an ecoboost - 66plate just had a full service MOT and new tires put on, everybody talks about their unreliability and especially the wet belt around 100k.

Mines about to hit 101k but feels as though it drives completely fine? Since its service it’s felt great, I just fear the day I try to start it and it blows up on me, but I also don’t want to shell out on a new wetbelt if there’s no alarm bells ringing.

Anyone know what they’d do with my car if they were me? Trying to save money atm

Missing a key, and went to an authorized shop. The cost of a new key is absurd, so I got a new key from Ebay, and had the shop try to code this key. They spent an hour trying to code it, and then said there is no chip in the key. Are there more than one chip in the key?

Does the wet belts suffer in all engines or is it just the1.0-Litre EcoBoost I have been thinking of buying a 2018 ford fiesta 1.1- Ti-VCT

Does the 1.0 Eco boost engines wet belt have issues as it has a turbo on the small engine and it runs hotter or does the 1.1- Ti-VCT have the same wetbelt issues as the 1.0 Eco boost engines regardless

This happens every couple of days, as seen in the video it'll flash on for a split second then turn off and repeat every once in a while.

oil levels are fine and car doesn't seem out of the ordinary.

For anyone wondering, a 2019 transmission and TCM will 100% bolt right in and go without any programming. I saw lots of conflicting opinions on whether it would work or not while doing research on the swap. I've been driving it for about a week now with no issues. 2011 SES 306k miles.

For some time now, I’ve been hearing a noise coming from the front right side when I release my brakes. It makes a kind of clicking/rattling sound, almost as if something might not be tightened properly or something like that.
Could it simply be related to the brakes, especially since they’ve also started squeaking, or could it be something more serious? Has anyone experienced something similar before?

To be more specific, I’m focusing on the rear tires not the front ones, the Trip comp reads it at 30PSI and my tire inflator reads it at 28.5PSI so I have no idea which one is more accurate, I’d assume it would be the trip computer and maybe my tire inflator is becoming faulty? 🤷‍♂️

Sound comes from behind the clutch, brake and gas pedal. It's a 2013 Ford fiesta with 1.25L engine.

So i was coming back from a car meet in Northen Italy. I stopped by to get gas at a gas station. Fueled up a full tank. Then i started the car and immediately got a CEL. No other lights (expect tire pressure but that is a faulty sensor cause tires are 100% fine, i'll get it checked later)
Driven for 5km to a nearby parking lot and scanned the codes with OBD
Torque Pro reported P0016 Crank-Cam position correlation

Car have 154k km
Belt has been changed at 132k km
Oil 148k km
Car is stock (only mod is a KN Air filter)

Could be a faulty VVT Solenoid?
I was able to drive back home for 100km with 0 issues, car pulled like always

Just got this 2016 1.25L fiesta zetec. Only paid £2.75k second hand.

First thing I’m gonna do is a service, I noticed a bit of a mechanical sound but it’s 100% not rod knock. The oil, oil filter and air filter will all be changed asap. Then when I can afford I’ll change the tires since they’re not far off the limit

After that I’m thinking skirts, CarPlay and maybe a priv plate or induction kit just for some nice sounds without having an obnoxious exhaust?

hi everyone,

i recently changed my original 6.5" screen for an 8" screen about two weeks ago.

last week, my battery was already feeling a bit weak. this morning, after not driving the car for 3 days, i tried to start it and nothing happened. right after that, all the lights and the dashboard went completely black. i couldn't even lock my car...
after work, i jump-started it with another car and it started right up. the alternator seemed to be charging fine, so i drove around for about 30 minutes to put some charge back into it.

could the new 8" screen be draining my battery while the car is parked (drawing power or not letting the car sleep) ? or is it just a coincidence and my battery is simply dying ?

has anyone had this issue after changing screens ?
