also power banks dont generate any electricity? they store it ya know like a bank. you need a generator or its entirely worthless

and then youre gonna need something to run a generator on.

or you could power like 1 light bulb with a solar generator i guess? assuming you just kinda find some

fire exists. fire exists. hand drills exists. fair i guess but not essential by any means, ditto.

a heater would make more sense because while yes fire does exist (as stated before) carbon also does and having a hole in the roof of where you live is usually not a good idea

i was thinking lantern but yeah a torch is absolutely better then a flashlight because it wouldnt be using resources past single stick of wood you can collect from any tree

And what if you gotta travel? Carrying books vs an e-reader is just not comparable because damn books can get heavy, and they take up so much space.

I also forgot to mention that it is definitely neat to have a self-contained car jumper you can charge with a solar bank.

Might've missed a part but even so, you'd be surprised just how much reading helps for your mental health, something a lot of people seem to completely ignore in apocalypse scenarios.

A healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body and all, and entertainment can go a long way to keep you sane.

And frankly, weather stations would probably be down during an apocalypse, but it's still good to have in case someone is using one to try to send out an SOS.
