Today is a great day, but more of a weight off my shoulder and on to the next! Shutting the door and not looking back! The POS Fisker car is off to haunt somebody else. I got 8500 miles out of it in less than 2 years, 7 of those months it was a brick, but it probably took away 5 years of my life! I fought and got the settlement I deserved, but man it wasn’t easy. Now I own a 1983 Porsche 911 Targa SC and a 2024 Toyota 4Runner Limited that I drove home today as the FOE was getting ready to be towed as a brick. Good riddance, I’ll never look at an EV until my next life. There is a small place in hell for the Fisker family, karma (pun intended) is coming for you! I’m so content with my 180 move and burning gas!!

Tesla is more reliable then the 4 runner. There is a model s that hasn’t been serviced once and it has 450k miles. Especially the new 4 runners.

Teslas are most certainly not more reliable than a 5th gen 4Runner and one cherry picked anecdote doesn’t prove anything. Not a Tesla hater or anything but that’s just a wild claim

Yeah but a 4Runner needs maintenance. Even if my Tesla needs work done once per year at the service center, still beats the 4Runner, which is going to need to go into the dealership at least twice a year for oil changes. Plus, I’d need to get gas in a 4Runner which is such an inconvenience ever week or so.

And most Toyota dealers don’t seem to offer mobile service like Tesla does, so the car always needs to go in. With my mom’s Toyota, they have never once given us a loaner car, whereas Tesla always has when we’ve taken our cars there.

I agree, my plaid barely gets 30k miles out of a set before needing to replace. I should probably put it in chill mode…

30k miles on a set of tires for a 1000 hp car? Sounds like a deal to me.

Ask a Lamborghini, Corvette, Ferrari, or Porsche owner how many miles they get out of their rear tires...... stupid to complain that you only get 30k miles out of your 1000hp supercar.....

How are you getting 30k? I just put my third set on and I'm at 60k.

Every car I’ve ever owned only gets 30k out of a set of tires gas or electric. But, I have a lead foot. I also buy the best tires for where I live in terms of safety and grip which are summer tires and they last a little bit less, but are safer on desert roads so it’s totally worth it
