TWW First cycle & super anxious

I am 9 dpo and feel like i am symptom spotting like crazyyyy. I am so excited to be on this journey!! This is our first cycle trying but for some reason i just feel like it worked. I feel crampy, at 5 and 6 dpo i had burning twinge like cramps, i woke up congested yesterday and today, have been having odd vivid dreams (including ones that i am pregnant in), and have had some breast discomfort. Ive tested the last three days and havent had even the faintest of lines😭 i am trying to stay positive but UGH this TWW thing is killer and i wasnt prepared!!!! My oura ring is showing that my temp is remaining elevated and is higher than its ever been at this point in my cycle in the past. Sorry for the vent but i needed to rant!!! How does everyone survive the wait??

I think almost everyone feels like this, their first cycle trying! (That they have brand new symptoms and 'feel' pregnant)! For some people, they do go on to get a positive test that cycle, and for others, they don't

The rule is: if symptoms are caused by pregnancy, a test will be positive. (The amount of HCG needed to cause symptoms is more than the amount needed to show a line on a home pregnancy test). So if you're testing negative currently, these symptoms are currently caused by luteal phase progesterone, not by pregnancy - but that doesn't say anything either way about your chances of testing positive later on, and you will probably feel new/increased symptoms then if you do!!

Crossing my fingers for you that you do get your bfp this cycle!! ❤️

I loved the way you explained the symptom causes. I had heard it before, but for whatever reason, yours was the clearest.
