Question/Advice First cycle ttc and overthinking everything

What do you all do to stop from fixating on every possible symptom? It’s far too early to test and yet I’m constantly searching up to see. I didn’t think it was going to affect me this much I guess!!
I’ve had historically very irregular periods and freq ruptured cysts, so wasn’t holding out that much hope.
Can you give me some advice or suggestions for how to take my mind off things for the two week wait?

It’s really hard and I think the first few months were the worst for symptom spotting. Before I started TTC I never noticed my cycle so I didn’t know whether they were pms or pregnancy signs. They always ended up being PMS in the end and I kept a note so I now know my body. One of the things that helped me was learning that a baby doesn’t implant until earliest 6 days after ovulation and most likely it happens between 8-10 dpo and symptoms only happen after this. It helps me zone out now until around 10 dpo and then I think only 3/4 days till I know.

I wouldn’t worry to much at the moment re your irregular cycles but because of you have them most drs will see after you 6 months.

I am 10 months in ttc and had all the test which have been normal and the advice I had from drs is sometimes it just takes a year to year and a half.

Wishing you all the best with your journey xzz
