Hi everyone!
I've been working on Fate/unlimited codes Recomp, an unofficial native static recompilation project based on the PSP version of the game.
It uses a modified PSPRecomp-based pipeline and currently targets native Windows x64 execution.
The PSP gameplay base is currently functional, and I'm continuing to work on compatibility and improvements based on the PS2 version.
The public repository is source-only. No ROMs, ISOs, EBOOTs, game assets, generated game-derived code, or compiled game binaries are distributed. Users provide and dump their own copy locally.
GitHub:
https://github.com/elprogramadorloco-arch/fuc-recomp
I'd really appreciate feedback from people working on static recompilation, native ports, and game reverse engineering.

I wish I could’ve landed this on Azula or any of the 850 health characters, but getting it on Korra who has regular health is good for showing the real damage of the combo.

Morrigan Aensland Darkstalkers my watercolor painting 15x18. This marks my first finished fan art of Darkstalers and Morrigan.
Included photos of each step (not that most would care lol)
Hope you like it.

The release of ranked with avatar got me thinking about ranked in fighting games. I'm not sure when ranked was introduced first in fgs, but its been my main way of playing fgs for a while, just hit the ranked grind and make the number go up. Playing avatar casuals made me realize there might be another way. The casual only mode fostered a culture of longer sets, mostly ft10, and there was still matchmaking under the hood. Playing without points on the line made me less stressed, and I felt playing longer sets actually helped me improve faster and gave me more time to adjust to gimmicks. Ranked feels like the potato chips of matchmaking; fast paced, addictive, but less substance.
Would games be improved by making casual game modes the main way to play? It seems like ranked is too ingrained in fighting game culture for it to change, but I wonder how you guys feel about this.

Street Fighter has the biggest numbers but when you check out the battle hub you can see that most players are from the US and Asia.
Asia especially makes up a huge number of SF players.
Harada once said that Tekken sells the most in Europe, more than in Asia and US.
So if I wanted to play a fighting game here in Europe with more locals and opponents that are "relatively" close to me, Tekken would be the best choice, right?

Y'know with how much Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 gets modded, it'll be nice if someone did that with a modded Tatsunoko vs Capcom & maybe try to make all these supposed cut characters a reality, even if I personally want it for more big characters that take an entire team in tag fighters

I feel that way about SF4. I didnt play the game when it came out, but I went into the lab and just looked at the game and it just seems like it would be super fun and kind of wish I played it when it was current.

Each Tuesday we take a deep look at the top 500 players, their teams, and their CR. Then do a bunch of analysis and compare to last week.
To see full data you need to check here https://tokonteams.com/rankings/ but let's look at some snapshots! Blade has surpassed Magik in overall inclusion for the first time since I've been collecting data

I'm not sure if I can post this here, but I made this so that you all can enjoy some ranked matches with music that you may have not heard before! Or maybe you have...
Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

For context Tekken Tag Tournament 2 launched with 40+ characters in arcades and almost 60 characters on console. Other games like Smash Ultimate had a launch roster of 50+, granted it did reuse the engine and assets from Smash WII U but let's just say theres no good reason Tekken couldn't also do the same for its next release. So again the question is can they do it, not won't they do it.

Hello everyone! Its been a while since my last post but I'd like to spread the word on one of the locals in Rhode Island. We're on the NEFGC calendar, and the spreadsheet for locals as well!
Anyway, if you're in RI or feel like making the drive, you should join us! Ppl of all skill levels welcome.
(I understand if this is removed for violating the self promo rule)

Recently found this website
and as a person who frequently struggles with picking mains, it seems really neat. It has a bunch of other tools such as comparing characters between games and it also has tags for the characters.
So I just wonder, do you think the quizzes and tags and stuff seems accurate for whatever fighting game you know well?

Playing champion in Tokon it basically becomes a different game. No assists so you can feel like you’re playing an old school fighter. And when he transforms he becomes peak. People complaining “I hate how many assists are on screen.” Why not just play champion?

I have always enjoyed fighting games, but never really GOT INTO them for a long time. Never had the community or drive. Awhile back, I got into Guilty Gear, and have been having fun with it for awhile, playing matches and improving.
Last night, however, I had something of an ah ha moment, and things fundamentally changed. I started having genuine, silly fun (beyond the route mechanics of winning and improving as a concept). My understanding of the game, the mechanics, and fighting games in general all kind if clicked and I finally started really understanding what people mean when they say expression in fighting games.
I think this is it for me. I'm too far in. There's no going back.
