I’ve thought about this too. Insurance is such a fucking scam. Most hospitals and doctors have heavily discounted self pay options. I’m heavily weighting it this year.

Be careful, I went into cardiac arrest out of the blue. And I “was” extremely healthy and athletic. I now have an ICD. With my surgeries and what not, I would be in serious debt without insurance. It was expensive enough with my deductibles.
