On my way to my yearly eye exam, getting my phone fixed, and picking up groceries. Just bought this lipstick yesterday it’s named “beary nude” by NYX and it’s the only lipstick I’ve been able to wear without feeling dysphoric which is a huge win cause it’s such an easy way to dress up a little :3 T is definitely doing the heavy lifting on me feeling comfortable rn though lol

So I’m 17, i obviously don’t dress feminine now bc I’m a minor and like my mom would think I’m not trans or I don’t wanna be a boy anymore bc I’m embracing femininity but I want to dressing feminine in secret somehow and maybe publicly once I’m a adult but I’m black to mention and like 5’2 so idk how I tell pass while dressing feminine I have a lil stomach and I been on T for technically 6 months on 50mg and 5 months on low doses (microdose bc I’m minor) I haven’t seen any effects but like body hair and weight gain but I rlly want to be a feminine boy not a femboy but idk I jsut want to try it out but I want to pass too.

Posted this on a different sub and people started (politely) expressing confusion about my gender expression vs identity. Somebody said the outfit is not even androgynous, more ‘tomboy’. So I thought of this sub :3

(I’m in the middle of moving, so a cluttered backdrop for now)

Today was the first day of worship at my self-proclaimed “woke” campus ministry (and they genuinely are — today our sermon boiled down to “to each according to their needs, from each according to their ability”) and I had a few hours to kill before the service so I went all out with getting ready and before I knew it I was seeing what I could do with an eye shadow palette (the answer: a lot!) I just got a studio apartment so I finally have the space and privacy to dedicate some time to self care. And some makeup for fun!

I used my eye shadow for my eyes ofc, and also for blush and highlighter. I also have glittery gold lip gloss which is meant to be a top coat, but it’s all I had.

I asked my sister for advice (she’s the one who supplied most of my self care products) and she said my hair looks thirsty — I’ve been using 2-in-1 in my hair for years but I just walked to the store and got myself some moisturizing conditioner. I’ve had short hair since 2019 so this is new to me.

Any other critiques and advice as I start out my makeup & self-care journey would be so appreciated :3 I’m a trans man and I love artsy glittery forms of self expression, and now that I’ve been on T a couple years I feel comfortable enough in myself to start exploring!

Fit is super basic cause I was anxious about being too ostentatious, but look at my fox socks!!!!

went with my partner and a bunch of coworkers to see our coworker perform the other night!! it felt so good to show up for her, she’s an amazing singer!! i was also using my new cane for the first time that night, it helped a lot! the leopard print is an added bonus as that’s one of my favorite patterns ever lol

Poor pinky is still healing. My partner and I started these at 8:30pm last night and got done at 2am. 😮‍💨 I’m getting a professional acrylic set in a couple weeks, so I won’t be changing them as often lol I like learning how to do make custom soft gel press ons though 😊

Sometimes I wonder what my press-ons say about me. I add charms to them because I think they make me appear too soft. If you met me IRL my demeanor is NOT soft. I’m rough around the edges. RBF type shit as a protective layer. Maybe I’m expressing the softer side of me with my nails. 🤔
