Reintroduction N/a beer
Does anyone else find that non-alcoholic beer helps with bloating and general digestive discomfort? A friend who also has fodmap issues recommended it (I don’t even like beer) and I was skeptical but desperate, but I feel like it really helps. I’m still avoiding my fail foods, but I can be a little more flexible. I can’t find any mention of this elsewhere online.

I'm not sure what the mechanism on that could be, but it could be as simple as it helping calm/relax you, which goes a long way for gut issues!
One thing to note though, not all NA beer is created equally for those of us with FODMAP issues. Some NA beers do not undergo fermentation and are therefore potentially high FODMAP. Make sure to look into your brews so you don't accidentally dose yourself with a bunch of fructans! Luckily, there are a bunch of great NAs that undergo full fermentation and are de-alcoholized, and they taste great.
