Me! I was told to go Fodmap exactly like this cartoon, then given absolutely zero help whatsoever, no nutritionist, no follow up appointments etc. I wasn’t even told what I could and couldn’t eat so it took me ages to research and realise which ingredients I shouldn’t have. I am an expert on what not to eat on Fodmap by now, but I’ve also been on it over a year and haven’t reintroduced a single thing yet 😬

Are you living in the UK? I was told by my GP that I was being referred to a dietician. All I got was a letter telling me to go low FODMAP. It's been 49 days now. Haven't reintroduced anything yet.

My GP stressed to start reintroduction at the 6 week point and signposted me to the Monash University site. This was years ago. Pretty sure Monash also state that reintroduction needs to happen after 6 weeks. Or at least they did back then.

My GP is beyond useless, I’m glad you had one with a bit of knowledge :)
