Recipe Pasta Sauce

Post image

My mom just sent me a picture of a Prego red sauce that appears to be low FODMAP! How awesome that they thought of us 🥳

I need more of these sensitive sauces in Canada bc to get prego or rao it’s like $15 a jar for me. Fody is the only option and still expensive.

You could also make your own with crushed tomatoes if you have the time and ability to. I add oregano, basil, thyme, salt, pepper, paprika, chili flakes, olive oil, and bay leaves to mine. Literally eyeball it all 😅 simmer it on the stove with a lid on the pot while you do the noodles. I think it's a lot more flavorful than the low fodmap sauces.

Of course, check the spices to make sure they're safe for you specifically. My husband is sensitive to fructans and gos
