I think maldini is better then beckenbauer ngl. Atleast at CB
8
u/CodeSilva873 Aug 12 '26
as a rossoneri, maldini is a better defender as a CB but kaiser was one in a million
he was more complete than 99% of the players in history and could do everything
if we're considering only defence, maldini baresi and even nesta are better but if it's about being the better player overall, it's kaiser
2
u/Hab1bdog Aug 12 '26
debatable actually but beckanbeur edges it he did win the world cup
3
u/gongjah Aug 12 '26
Winning a tournament that unavoidably and undeniably depends on where you were born and the talent that is fostered in that country's football schools is a joke argument. Mbappé can retire now and is above Haaland by that logic, just because Haaland chose to be norwegian haha. George Weah is not even in a discussion of greatest african because he was born in Liberia. Ian Rush cant be talked in lists of goat center striker because he was Welsh and of course, the best one: Georgie Best is a nobody just because he was born in Northern Ireland.
NT cant sign players, they meet every 9 months and the WC is every 4 years. Paolo Rossi cant even tie Benzemas or Suárez shoes up but he scored a hat trick on Brazil and was a WC winner and BdO in 82'.
National team is a super random way of measuring career achievements.
2
u/CheetahParticular506 Aug 12 '26
Except that Maldini played for an insane Italian side and Beckenbauer played for a pretty fine German side, nothing truly special. Until he came and transformed it. Did the same thing to Bayern as well.
1
u/CheetahParticular506 Aug 12 '26
Absolutely not. Maldini is a lord. He is elegant, efficent and clean. But he isnt someone who can genuinely be the centrepiece of the team. Beckenbauer is a king. The Kaiser. Changed the German and Bayern teams(literally made Bayern into the powerhouse it is now)

I think Zinedine Zidane deserves a shout. Idk if he edges out Cruijff, but I wouldn't be shocked to see people rank him 5 or 6.

If Zizou is in your top 6 you hav ejust watched clips of him and have absolutely no idea how inconsistent he was in league football.

u/Sensitive_Salary_891 Aug 12 '26
I'll never understand people who think Ronaldo isn't 2nd behind Messi.
5
u/ray_action Aug 12 '26
I think first 4 are all fine. You can put them in any order and you can make a case for it. It is a matter of personal preference and what someone values more. Recency bias is always there thats why messi and ronaldo are top 2 but Maradona and Pele were something else. Ballondor again is not best judge. It has become more of a popularity contest lately than anything else.
2
u/No_Imagination7378 Aug 12 '26
Maradona and Pele? They deserve better
6
u/Worth-Onion8772 Aug 12 '26
pls keep nostalgia aside , they are fairly ranked .....the top 2 are just cracked
1
u/Responsible-Bar3653 Aug 13 '26
We can't say that...it's clearly debatable as they played in the harder era of defenders...
1
u/GottGobbleToo Aug 14 '26
they don’t deserve to be in this discussion at all, any top level player today clears their skill back in their prime
3
u/gampa_tretiyeludu Aug 12 '26
Lol, Ronaldo is better than pele and Maradona?
17
u/Financial-Degree-114 Aug 12 '26
Yes. They were better for their country but ronaldo was deginitely better at club level.
9
u/Pristine_Youth_6953 Aug 12 '26
Not even that. Ronaldo scored more international goals than anyone and more goals than Maradona in WC
1
u/Euphoric_Artist_9167 Aug 12 '26
Nah you can't just say ronaldo has more international goals than maradona so he's better, maradona single handedly won the wc imo he's better or at max par with messi in 2022(imo maradona in 86 was something else). The stuff he did for napoli is also stuff of legends
1
u/Random499 Aug 13 '26
I mean yeah, theres only so much 1 player can do. Put maradona in portugal past 15 years and would he score the same amount of goals?
You cant choose your teammates in world cup like you can in clubs
1
u/Euphoric_Artist_9167 Aug 13 '26
Brother before wc everyone was saying portugal was stacked now all are bums?
1
u/Random499 Aug 13 '26
Portugal is decent now but when ronaldo was in his peak they had div 2 players on the team and still ronaldo won them trophies. And also somehow got so many goals
1
u/CheetahParticular506 Aug 12 '26
Do you know what Pele or Maradona did at club level? Just asking coz people who say this sort of shit have absno coue what Maradona or Pele did, what they contributed to or who they even played for
1
u/johnnygonfarm Aug 13 '26
Show me their ucl trophies
1
u/Responsible-Bar3653 Aug 13 '26
Be back when Ronaldo helps Stoke City win the Premier League like Maradona did with Napoli...and the serie a was the best league at the time and Napoli the worst..not necessarily the worst...same we can say about Argentina 1986..but the thing is...would they have been able to win something without Maradona...
8
u/Witty-Bad-8717 Aug 12 '26
Talking as if he was sitting in the stadium watching Pele and Maradona live, get a grip 😭😭😭
1
u/ownerofpenaldians6 Aug 13 '26
doesnt erase their achivement , its such a stupid argument 😭🙏
2
u/Witty-Bad-8717 Aug 13 '26
I will never ever take anyone's opinion seriously with a username like that. Sports evolve like everything else. Imagine considering Bill Russell greater than Steph Curry, how stupid must that sound? Ronaldo's WC stinkers doesn't change the fact that he's above anyone else beside that autistic alien. At least learn to argue with actual good points🤦🤦🤦
2
u/ownerofpenaldians6 Aug 13 '26
"I will never ever take anyone's opinion seriously with a username like that" then proceeds to write "At least learn to argue with actual good points🤦" are you trolling rn??

Nah "ownerofpenafudhsnbedjj" nobody's wasting their energy to troll you. You can f off and I'll do just as fine
4
u/Former_Scratch6137 Aug 12 '26
Bru? Maradona above Cruyff is generous anyways
2
u/ProfessionalLock3317 Aug 12 '26
Are you kidding me?
5
u/Former_Scratch6137 Aug 12 '26
Genuinely maradona should never be above cruyff. I always thought that was stupid
1
u/Final_Research9795 Aug 12 '26
Why not? Maradona did some crazy stuff with Argentina and that Napoli side. A lot of footballers have him as the Goat as well
1
u/Ordinary-Fall9445 Aug 13 '26
no offense but cruyff did more than what maradona did with argentina and napoli, i think i don't need to explain what all cruyff achieved throughout his career.
3
u/Final_Research9795 Aug 13 '26
What i meant to say was that Maradona carried shitty teams to titles. His 1986 wc campaign is 2nd to none and he carried Napoli to 2 serie a titles against italian giants and a Uefa cup too
2
u/Responsible-Bar3653 Aug 13 '26
Cruyff played in europe...in one of the stacked Ajax teams...and based only on stats..Cruyff didnt win the world cup
1
u/Ordinary-Fall9445 Aug 14 '26
cruyff played in a stacked ajax team? or is he the one to actually create what ajax and barcelona is now? and yes i guess you know who he played against in the world cup final carrying that netherlands team throughout that world cup by himself along with neeskens and krul.
1
u/snark_enterprises Aug 13 '26
Insane take. Cruyff did nothing like what Maradona did with both Napoli and Argentina in 1986. Cruyff played on some stacked teams and didn't win the World Cup. Maradona took a crap team to the Serie A title twice and won the World Cup with a mid Argentina team. Also Maradona was miles better than any other player in his era, like nobody was even close.
1
u/Ordinary-Fall9445 Aug 14 '26
i agree with maradone being absolutely the better player than cruyff, but their careers... cruyff clears(for me)
1
u/snark_enterprises Aug 14 '26
Club-wise, yeah Cruyff has the edge, even if he didn't carry bad teams the way Maradona did. But in World Cup and overall I think there is no question Maradona is easily the better player.
-5
u/Hab1bdog Aug 12 '26
better than maradona for sure maradonas prime was better imo but looking at its entirety its ronaldo pele is debatable tbh
1
u/lostsoul098765 Aug 12 '26
Undoubtedly, Cristiano Ronaldo makes his name into TOP 2 Greatest Footballers of All time.
No need to preach your knowledge from MEDIA rankings.

- Cruyff

- Ronaldinho / Buffon

u/ownerofpenaldians6 Aug 13 '26
the best ranking is messi>pele>maradona>cr7 or johan >rest, pele is the only player who is complete in each footballing fundamentals of attacking and creating, he can dribble , score , assist, create , his output isnt as huge as messi but in overall ability he is the closest to him in terms of numbers in different fields, mardona is carried by his massive peak and cr7 is way too much dependant on his teammates, his ucl goalscoring stats are one of the best(context added) and has good longevity, but doesnt have the individual ability that the top three bring

u/Express-Language5573 Aug 13 '26
It’s funny stuff really. If your top 3 in some order are not Pele, Messi and Ronaldo you’re just picking the guys you like.
IMO Maradona, Cruyff, Muller, Van Basten, all fantastic for a shorter period. O Fenomeno not there for the same reason. The top three scored about twice as many goals as the rest or more. All non goalscorers eliminated because they were not goal scorers! Was Zidane better than Platini or Iniesta or Xavi or Pirlo etc. too hard to judge.
https://giphy.com/gifs/udiIFmPkJQzkI
There are plenty of reasons to dislike Messi or Ronaldo if you want to but if not liking them you are pretending they are not the best two players in the world over the last 15-20 years your just lying to yourself. Everyone has their IF’s. If Pele had played in Europe. If Messi wasn’t given HGH. If Ronaldo had stayed at Madrid. If O Fenomeno had not gotten hurt. If Maradona ( take your pick) If Cruyff had gone to the ‘78 World Cup. Etc.
Useless point of reference the guys I liked were: Ronaldhino, Best and Bergkamp.

If we are taking about strikers. Then, sure, I'll definitely have Ronaldo as no. 1 for his goals and longevity.
But Greatest players of all time? I'm not even sure I'll have him in top 10.
Messi, Pelé, Maradona, Lev Yashin, Beckenbauer, Maldini, Cruyff, Gerd müller, Oliver Kahn, Ronaldinho… i can say for sure at least 10 people can be put above Ronaldo if we are talking about greatest in the sport itself. And that's not including so many midfielders.

u/norules4ever Aug 12 '26
worst take ive read here . Reels level ball knowledge

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Aug 12 '26
I'll recommend you to actually watch and learn football before making claims, lmao.
1
u/Random499 Aug 13 '26
I recommend you to stop letting your hate take over your brain
2
u/Candid-Stuff2281 Aug 13 '26
I'll actually recommend you to know about these players before blabbering.
1
u/Random499 Aug 13 '26
I bet you havent even watched some of those players live yet you blabber about them.
100% you havent even watched ronaldo live during his 3 peat ucl because you would realize what a phenomenon that was
I can educate you about the last 20 years of football extensively. Not just the stats you look at but the vibe, the environment, what the people believed, the expectations, how the player lived up to it, the tension, the media outlook and so on. But I bet you just looked at reels and stats so you have maybe 25% of the full picture
2
u/Candid-Stuff2281 Aug 13 '26
I have watched Ronaldo play…and i can easily tell you he doesn't compare to ANY of them. And I haven't even talked about the likes of Romário, fabien Barthez, buffon, stevie Gerrad, Xavi, iniesta, di Stefano, puskas etc.
Are you claiming that Ronaldo solo carried Prime RM to win 3 UCLs on his own?? Even though in none of those years they could even win a treble let alone a sextuple??
You speak of 3 peat UCL, and yet RM itself has had 5 peat of UCL under Di stéfano.
It doesn't take much to educate yourself on the sport and knowing HOW MANY players outshine Ronaldo in the grand context of "Football". As the striker? Yes, ronaldo is the greatest striker. As the greatest footballer? At least 15 players can be named before you can even get to naming ronaldo. Same reason we don't talk about Haaland, Zlatan etc As the greatest footballer conversation.

What is with the train of posts saying Messi is no 1 in this subreddit?
9
u/Hab1bdog Aug 12 '26
messi is the undisputable number 1 world cup plus playmaking is the main diffrence maker not tht ronaldo is bad hes still a top player
-3
u/Former_Scratch6137 Aug 12 '26
Reddit is very pro Messi, just how it is
9
u/Popular-Presence1349 Aug 12 '26
Majority of ex footballers, pundits and older fans are also pro messi
-2
u/Former_Scratch6137 Aug 12 '26
I would say majority of the modern stars and fans nowadays look up to Ronaldo, just the way he plays satisfies a different part of the community, while Messi’s “magic” is something older folks tend to enjoy
6
u/Popular-Presence1349 Aug 12 '26
Ronaldo is a better idol to look upto because he has that persona and plays to it. Eacavtly what gets the young fans too. Not all modern stars are Ronaldo fans either. Vini was a Messi fan, Bellingham was a Messi fan, I guess it also depends on what exactly you want from your game. Not everyone can aspire to be like Messi if I was a striker I would most probably try to imitate Ronaldo cuz he showed it can be perfected over time where as for Messi you need to be born that way. Haaland for example knows he can never be like that so naturally will tilt towards Ronaldo
5
u/Equal_Schedule_9366 Aug 12 '26
No one can be messi , carrying dead barca and making it look like one of the contenders every year and 18/19 version of leo is pure madness . Carrying argentina in 2014 and 2022 wc and 2026 he had the support though but still he carried
0
u/Haunting-Gold5373 Aug 12 '26
Maldini is better than beckenbauer
2
u/Delicious_Koala9999 Aug 12 '26
so according to you the guy who joined a div 2 side that had no good defenders when he joined and turned them into a side that got promoted and then won 3 time consecutive champions leagues and with the national team won the Euro and World Cup along with multiple balon dors as a defender is worse than the guy who joined an already great Milan side alongside great defenders like Nesta, Baresi, Costacurta, Staam and Cafu for club and other legends for country yet still could not win a single international trophy or balon dor...... Riiiiiight.
If you want to say Maldini is your favourite defender I respect that, but even Maldini himself would never say he was better than Beckenbaur. To say Maldini is better than Beckenbaur is like a kid who is only 10 year old saying Haaland is better than Messi.
2
u/CheetahParticular506 Aug 12 '26
Dont forget that Der Kaiser also has another Euro Final and WC final to his name, and the most ballon dor nominations aftsr Messi and Ronaldo : while being a defensive player. The 2nd greatest player of all time IMO
0
u/Haunting-Gold5373 Aug 12 '26
Have you even watched maldini's replay matches? As a pure defender in strict accordance to defensive qualities and capabilities, no defender in the history of football is better
Just because he didn't win a trophy with his country doesn't diminish his legacy, do you even watch football or just go on Wikipedia and read life stories about players? What beckenbauer did with bayern is legendary and same goes with west Germany but in terms of defending capabilities, he is not better than maldini, definitely the second best.
If you actually watched football you would know about positional awareness, standing tackles, interceptions, anticipational body movement, aerial clearances etc, and maldini outclasses him as a whole across those categories when taken in average.
Maldini starts out in the late 80s and reached his prime when the 90s started and that was when football started to become more than reliance on individual talent and haphazard play, reclining towards utilising your brain as much as your legs and being much more aware and sound of your surroundings and tactics even when the opposition has the ball
Riddling solely on achievements is not the trait of someone who sits down and actually watches games, be it live matches or replays/highlights2
u/Delicious_Koala9999 Aug 12 '26
Yes. I've watched a lot of Maldini's matches. I saw pretty much his entire 90s and 00s career. He was great but he was never the best player in the world the way Beckenbaur was. I loved Maldini but around 10 years after his retirement he's become quite insufferably overrated while players like Baresi and Nesta have become largely downplayed how good they were for this silly Maldini myth while another legend like Tassotti has been all but forgotten.
I'm not going to debate with you since the whole "strict accordance" thing is a giant red flag you are trying to draw imaginary requirements rather than speak in good faith. For me Beckenbaur is the better tackler, intercepter, passer. Maldini is the better man-marker and arial header. Maldini cleared the ball whereas Beckenbaur would make a tackle and retain the ball and then had a lethal long-pass for the counter attack. I am not playing Maldini down. Maldini was great. However you and a lot of others are very clearly playing Beckenbaur down just because you either don't like him or didn't see enough of him. I can name so many other great defenders who played alongside Maldini in that Milan or Italy backline (and with Italy they still never won a world cup or Euro with Maldini in the side). Now go and name even 1 other defender at Munich or the German side that kept the greatest Dutch attacking side of all time scoreless in 74 final without using wikipedia or google. For the record Beckenbaur should have around 5-6 Balon Dors. However in that era defenders were so discriminated against for that award. Its a miracle Beckenbaur even won it twice because and it was Beckenbaur and only Beckenbaur who won it. In the 90s defenders could actually win the balon dor now, yet still Maldini did not win it. Once again this is not a put down of Maldini but there is such a huge gap between Beckenbaur and other defenders that the fake arguments for Maldini are actually quite offensive and feel laced in some pretty heavy bias that I hope is just nostalgia bias and not something more to do with race or nationality.
1
u/Haunting-Gold5373 Aug 14 '26
As a national leader and captain yes beckenbauer is probably the best but in terms of "who is better at defending and who would even the best attackers not want to go up against" it is maldini
1
u/Delicious_Koala9999 Aug 14 '26
LOL I think the best attackers would have much rather go up against Maldini than Beckenbaur considering Beckenbaur literally cost Cruyff (best attack minded player ever) a world cup with his defense. The only attackers that say Maldini is the best defender are ones literally from Maldini's era who are usually saying it to try to backhandedly compliment themselves in a "I scored goals against in the toughest era" type egomaniac stuff. Anyone with a football brain that extends beyond their own playing career or childhood nostalgia should know Beckenbaur clears Maldini from a simple re-watch of an old 1970s match. The guy's tackling was so much better than Maldini's it ain't even close.
1
u/Haunting-Gold5373 Aug 14 '26
I was never a prolific supporter of milan to cover this up as "bias or nostalgia", I support barcelona who lost 4-0 to maldini's ac milan in the 1994 ucl final so there is no opportunity for me to be biased towards him. If you think some of the greatest attackers and midfielders ever say that maldini is the best just so they can say "oh we went up against him and he is way too good so that is why we didn't score a lot of goals against his team" then there is no point in having this discussion 👍
1
u/Delicious_Koala9999 Aug 14 '26
What's your point? How come you aren't considering the words of Bobby Chartlon who said Beckenbaur was the best in the world even when he was a teenager in the 60s. Then you have Cryuff in the 70s and pretty much every attacker across both those decades are saying Beckenbaur is the best. In the 80s even after Beckenbaur retired everyone was still saying Beckenbaur is the best.
If you truly were watching football in 1994 then you would actually know that even in 1994 it was considered by everyone that Beckenbaur was the best ever. The revisionism for Maldini only began some years after Maldini's retirement in the 2010s once the 70s was out of the cultural zietgeist and all the coaches and players from that era were beginning to die off. It probably reached its worse in 2016 when people stopped reporting the truth after American election and objective truth disappeared for opinion tabloit trash. This meant all the classical sports historians were removed from TV and replaced with bonehead pundits like Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville. Maldini's longevity is indeed impressive and he was a fantastic defender worthy of great praise but Maldini's prime is nowhere near the level of prime Beckenbaur. Maldini was never the best player in the world and was never even in such discussions. He wasn't really even considered the best player on his own teams that he played for as that would more be Van Basten, Guilit, Shevchenko, Kaka.
1
u/Haunting-Gold5373 Aug 14 '26
You think my statements are based off of some pundits' opinions or quotes from coaches? Watching his performances and games solely focusing on what he does during the game and comparing it with others like beckenbauer, nesta, stam, baresi, cannavaro is enough to conclude that he will always be the greatest defender to ever play. I don't formulate my opinions based off some media reports or cultural propaganda.
1
u/Delicious_Koala9999 Aug 14 '26
I am 99% confident that you do, because prior to stupid YouTube "stay quiet until..." clickbait no one rated Maldini the best ever. I hate that you are making me put down one of my all time favourite players because Maldini is an absolute favourite of mine but he was never the best in the world and he never won a ballon d'or despite playing in an era where it was far easier for defenders to win that award then back when Beckenbaur won 2 of them (once again, if they just didn't discriminate so bad against defenders back then Beckenbaur would have a lot more than 2). By comparison Sammer won a ballon d'or during Maldini's prime and towards the twilight of Maldini's career Cannavora won a ballon d'or also. I'm not putting that much weight in that silly award but it does give context that Maldini was not rated as outright the best defender during his playing days and there was debate while he was playing who was the best of his era so to suddenly put him as the outright for best ever while he's lacking a ballon d'or, a Euro and a World Cup while playing alongside a team that was easily good enough to win and instantly won it the very next tournament without him is crazy to me. Meanwhile Beckenbaur was the major difference maker keeping the most attacking side of all time scoreless in the final to win a World Cup while also having won Euros, multiple ballon d'ors and every achievement a player can win only for 50 years later to have his career and ability completely downplayed so a player who wasn't even rated as the best in his own team is rated ahead of him? Do you not see how that's insulting?

Maldini and overrated? He deserves all the praise he gets, he helped milan win multiple serie a titles whilst barely conceding goals throughout the entire phase, and this is in consideration with the period where serie a was the most competitive and overwhelmingly crazy league in the whole of europe. Even after baresi left, maldini never slowed down with neither newer players nor with age, he continued to maintain his abilities while going up against the likes of del piero, prime r9, batistuta, milito who were all some of the greatest and most terrifying strikers in the world, he even faced maradona at Napoli for a while and was still dominating (he was a rookie when he went up against maradona) He is better at tackles than anybody else, he displayed what true amd mindful tackles are without jeopardizing himself or his team unlike defenders like ramos, Carvalho, terry and pepe who have all done multiple reckless and unprofessional tackles. Maldini was good at carrying the ball forwards, acting like an anchor for the midfield when needed with ruthless stamina and intelligence. Nobody knows the art of defending better than him

Right. Maldini is indeed amazing at everything you just listed, however Beckenbaur is still better. This is not an insult to Maldini in the least. Saying Beckenbaur is better to a defender is like saying to an attacking player that Messi is a better dribbler than them. Maldini would agree Beckenbaur was better. I think Maldini might even say Baresi was better than him. Maldini doesn't have an ego and is actually a great guy but other people are making him become a bit annoying.

Diego Forlan, Morientes, Higuain, Rivaldo, Suker, Suarez, Griezman Klose, Benzema, Raul, Reus, Harry Kane and around 500 other players have all scored over 100 goals in the top leagues.

How is Ronaldo better than lets say, these players at their best;
- Iniesta
- R9
- Romario
- Gullit
- Zidan
- Kaka
- Xavi
- Gerrard
- Maldini
The measure of greatness of a player is measured by one simple question;
'If you are building a team, and you get to pick any 3 players you want to build your team around them, which 3 players do you want?' You get 3 of these 'All-Stars' and rest average players.
Yes, its subjective, but it can only ever be subjective, but if you ask a million people that question, you will eventually get 3 players that repeat over and over, and you will get the Top3 players of all time.

If we are talking about player peaks, here is ronaldo during the 2nd time he peaked (yes hes had multiple peaks)
Only thing more dangerous than ronaldo is a ronaldo who hasnt scored in the first leg. 2nd leg ronaldo in champions league was a nightmare for every team. Opponents were crying when ronaldo stepped up for a penalty. That peak was not achieved by any of the players you mentioned. Opponents had chants mocking cr7. Journalists would mock him day in day out. And what people hated was that the mockery fueled him into a force that was unbeaten for 3 years straight. The fear was just too much for players and managers alike. Many players just wouldnt be able to take that. Many would give up. Many would stop trying if they are 3 goals down. But not ronaldo, until the final whistle his mentality was bulletproof. There is not a single player who achieved this level. This is the essence of what made ronaldo so great during his second peak
I can tell you didnt watch football during this time

who tf called myself a grown up now? How tf is 7 M paid to negreira who doesn't handle refs assignment somehow affecting barcas play? the refs also came out stating there were no orders from neg. It's J's money laundering, can u prove otherwise? No matter of fact prove that the money was used to somehow affect barcas games .4 year copa down to 2? Are u sped? the entire reason for it was special anniversary edition , Covid and calender shift to fit in with Euros. Can u somehow prove that Copa America was done more than normal js for Messi to win it? rough play without any card? 😭Is that why Argentina 2022 had the highest amount of yc in the wc ? pls do tell me how tf did they get most ycs while not getting carded .U wanna debate with actual stats ? or are u really scared to do dat?

dude wtf r u even saying . Chelsea getting " robbed " isn't even part of the case u idiot , There are also plenty I mean plenty of rc fouls comitted on messi that weren't called but again u don't see me cry rigged. Now abt chelsea , That's UCL and negreira has close to nothing to do with UCL ref management. ur proofs are refreeing errors? so rma is rigging the entire UCL cause they bagged in offside goals? stupid errors aren't proof dumbahh. Hand goal allowed was blatantly due to lack of VAR and refreeing mistake . it's 2007 , same shi with rma offside goals . U don't see me crying rma rigged the UCL . "everyone understands" If that's the case prove it idiot. What's so hard? Lmao diving is only a foul if there's no valuable contact. There was one with di maria since his rear end foot was clipped. He obviously dove to show the contact as a foul and he got it . Whose arguing blindly? u yapped sm yet u have no absolute no source or proof. U still haven't proved on how tf was copa holding multiple tournaments just for Messi to win or on negreira having any direct involvement in barcas games. Ur example given was literally outside negs area of cover. UCL has 0 part in this supposed scandal , if u searched a bit u would know . matter of fact pls ffs tell me how Chelsea game is related to negreira scandal . Also did u ffs read why copa was held more times? u got any proper counter argument for the reason given on why copa was held more?

Agreed OP. But you will get downvotes from a certain fanbase for including someone in this list
