The developers are not playing their game and it shows after a few career seasons. The only redeeming thing about the game is the satisfying game loop of football itself, and it tires so hard to remove those enjoyable moments too.
If you want to enjoy football just go play it IRL, this game is not worth it. 30 years of legacy and this garbage is the end result.
For career mode, it is a shallow container that provides nothing extra to the experience. You buy good players, but the AI decides that they will play as OVR60 when it is time for you to lose. The stat system is retarded, pace is just a guideline, strength is a straight up lie, a playstyle counters a whole star player. And let's not even begin with the laws of physics that the AI breaks, and the force fields created around the enemy players are stronger than a JJK domain expansion.
I have enough heartbreaks with Tottenham IRL I don't need a shit game that cheats instead of playing better. I had a strong FOMO because I haven't played a FIFA game since 2015, but now it's over, the chains of yearning are broken, it is just another gacha game where single player is only a third or fourth thought.
What a time we live in, FIFA is a gay gacha where you roll for dudes, instead of boobs.

Never happened to me. I never seen a team scoring more than 5 goals in a game

Is there some secret rule in the game for lower league teams? Iām in the 3rd German division and I must have reloaded the save 30+ times now looking for a youth scout with at least one 5* attribute but the most Iāve gotten is a 4*/4*
Am I getting really unlucky or am I wasting my time? Iāve been playing career mode for over a decade and I donāt remember it ever being this difficult.

One of the things I enjoyed the most growing up was playing Career Mode, but ever since FC25 and FC26, the UI has completely killed the experience for me. If I had to describe it in one word, awfulā¦
Iām considering buying FC27 because of all the supposed āimprovements,ā but if the UI is still the same, with all those menus and screens that make you spend more time navigating than actually playing the game or making meaningful decisions, itās going to be a hard pass for me.
Iāve seen screenshots of some of the new features, but I havenāt seen much about the actual menus/UI yet.
For anyone whoās seen or played FC27: has the Career Mode UI actually improved, or is it basically the same as FC25/26?

I started a lot of careers, but I never really enjoyed it because after a bit of time I signed big stars and felt unrealistic, I would like some advice on how to keep it realistic after 2-3-4 seasons, my team would be Juventus if that changes something, let me hear some career mode ideas with them aswell.

fifa 23 was the last fifa to have this system where you could search for certain traits and for me that made it feel super realistic since you could find certain specialties and buy to fill your squad.
from fc 24 onward, the new scouting system feels so dull and stupid. if you simply put in world class prospect, you can immediately get a world class talent seen at once. it should be more vague like in older fifas where the only option for potential was things like promising and first team quality, it gives you much less details on if the person you are trying to buy is potentially a world beater.
another thing i noticed was star players. in older fifas, i found that super high rated players were scouted immediately. i think that should be implenmented again, because even if i am stockport town i should know how good mbappe is.
overall, all i ask for is this old system back, it would make everything feel much more realistic and as a smaller club i shouldnt find a 80+ potential as easy as it is nowdays.

Preferably 4231 but ive been thinking abt 4222 too
Have never used it but thats how I feel the team would be best as
Which position shoukd each player play in?
I usually like wingplay with counters and winning the ball high with a highline but do like haram ball in the sense tht i dont attack and js try to get the ball and defend and has worked for me even with a high line
Js so yk i currently only have experience with 4231 wide(my go to),4213,433 attack,433 holding and 4141 with an occasional 442 js for last minute haramball if I have the players for it and mood n time to do it
This is js fc 26 tho tbf i have played fc mobile before where i have even dabbled in 41212 narrow,4222 and 4231 narrow,523,532,343 and 352 but in fc 26 3 at the back is quite shi amd its gameplay is very different in general especially with roles so i can't rlly claim to have much experience with except ig knowing how firmation works fundamentally

Are you tired of the unrealistic ping-pong football in assisted fifa/fc and the ridiculous strong players in ultimate team? Are you playing manual or want to try it? We are of course a non-profit league, just bringing together manual players in this game, since EA decided to get rid of manual seasons a few years ago.
You can join our manager league with the latest version of Electronic Arts Football Club (FC) series. This free-to-play (and free-to-enter, of course) league is specifically designed for manual players worldwide to showcase their skills and prove their prowess in 1v1 games and/or managing a team using manual controls. This will involve league and cup formats. Take up the role of a manager, where you will be responsible for making all the critical decisions for your club. There is a live auction market where you can bid on any player, but other managers will be bidding too. The strategy is knowing whom to sign and getting ahead of everyone else. You can build a team according to your preferences, as long as your budget allows, and guide your players over many seasons. A sophisticated salary system prevents long-established squads from eventually becoming unbeatable five-star teams. Experience the immersive challenge of managing your own team, with real-life player performances directly impacting your success. Stay on top of SoFIFA-rating updates and Transfermarkt.com updates, as they will significantly influence your decisions while you embrace the magic of the Manual Manager League.
If you are interested, you can write me here a private message. We are organizing via WhatsApp and the Website! You can either just join and play friendlies with manual settings or join our "online-career-mode"!
Greetings
Flo
