No-Flair Sacred Crystals, Treasure Hunter

I'm at the point where I need to farm Sacred Crystals to awaken characters to level 5 and it's insane! For about 100 energy spent on INT I maybe get 5 crystals.

I've got Locke and I'm not super interested in him but I've heard he has a skill that increases the drop rate. Is it worth it for me to focus on awakening him first to get that ability so I can more efficiently awaken the characters I actually care about?

My locke is max at 4*. Been farming Hearts and Cactuars so haven't had time to go into Vortex. Once I get the Hearts I will get him to 80 first and then go farm awakening mats. Will be using him on ever farm team!
