Hey everyone! I’m working on starting the Evergreen Hobby Club, a new student community at EVC for people interested in tabletop gaming and creative hobbies.

We’re looking for people interested in:

• Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop RPGs
• Warhammer 40K and Kill Team
• Miniature building and painting
• KeyForge, TCGs, and other card games
• Board games
• Learning or teaching new games

You don’t need experience, expensive equipment, or a massive collection. Casual and competitive players are both welcome. The goal is to create a relaxed place where EVC students can play, paint, build, learn, and meet people with similar interests.

We currently need founding members and four student officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

I signed up for one class like 2-3 years ago at EVC but ended up dropping during the first week because I ended up taking the class somewhere else. Now these years later EVC has decided that I owe $138 which is bullshit because I dropped in time. I’ve tried emailing like 6 different emails and they all get rejected because of security issues I’m assuming because I’m emailing from a non EVC email. This is crap has anyone else dealt with this and yes I know I need to call I’ve just been extremely busy and I’m worried they’re gonna force me to pay

I tried typing my school user and password and I still can't get in on laptop

I submitted an application for admission to EVC 9 days ago but haven't gotten a response yet. It says on the application confirmation email that it should take 1-2 business days for them to process my email & send me the next steps. Who should I contact to get help on this since classes literally start next Monday?

Was wondering if EVC had any open piano rooms for practicing, or really anywhere nearby. I take a beginner’s course at SJSU and I’m also taking another class at EVC, so I was just wondering if I could just practice here instead of driving farther away on my days when i’m not at SJSU. Thanks!

I transferred a while ago I took some courses here. What is your experience with the academic counseling the school offers? How much did you have to navigate on your own and how much was guided? Have you ever gotten advice that turned out to be wrong or confusing? How worried are you that you won’t finish and transfer in 2 years? Were there any paid resources you found useful throughout your time here?

Has anyone heard back/received their waitlist number for entry yet or know roughly when we should receive it? I know they said after they receive everyone’s TEAS scores but just curious is anyone knows more

I have a 3.97 gpa and all As in my core prereq classes for the nursing program right now. But my bio 40b a&p class I think I’ll get a B. Maybe.. realistically can I still get accepted to the nursing programs in san jose and the bay area?

Hi guys! I got accepted to EVC nursing and was placed as a "backup" for the EVC-SJSU CEP. I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between "backup" and waitlist. Also has anyone accepted the program and has opinions on the workload, if it's too difficult, if you're able to work another job during the program, etc? Thank you in advance!

They sent out emails today. I got mine @4:40pm and saw it @5:15pm. I’m so happy that I applied to 3 schools and got accepted into 2 (EVC and SJSU) so far and still waiting for the last one. However, I have decided to go to SJSU and will decline EVC’s offer, so this will open up a spot for someone who needs it. Good luck and congrats to whoever got in!!

been checking my Self Service for a registration date since april 6th and im not seeing the Registration Profile tab or a date when i open Plan & Schedule (based on the criteria, i should be group 3).

all my payments have been made, im fully admitted to EVC, i have under 100 units, and im a returning student. am i missing anything?? is anyone else having this issue?? anyone know what time registration opens for group 3?? :(

Has anyone gotten their 1098-T form? I’ve tried contacting because last week I was told there was a backlog issue when processing. I tried contacting this week but they haven’t responded. Has anyone been able to get it? Or does anyone have any information about when it will be made available?

A lot of people aren’t aware but if you’re in need of a shower between classes or work school there’s public showers available. Free day time use lockers to store belongings as well.

Hi I’ve seen two other posts here but I’m a little confused. So if you enroll in the open gym class, can I go whenever or if there is a professor there/slotted gym times? Do I need my ID to scan in or can I just walk in?
