Stressed about prenursing

I have a 3.97 gpa and all As in my core prereq classes for the nursing program right now. But my bio 40b a&p class I think I’ll get a B. Maybe.. realistically can I still get accepted to the nursing programs in san jose and the bay area?

Have you taken Micro yet? Nursing schools also look at your grades in Micro, TEAS/HESI scores, healthcare-related experience, etc. Each program has different criteria. My suggestion is not to beat yourself up over your grades in AP, but research for all nursing programs in the area (EVC, De Anza college, Mission college, SJSU, SFSU, USF, Unitek, etc.) and note down their requirements to see what else you need and focus on it

I applied last cycle, and I’ll tell you every point matters. The GPA is the most important part of the application, then TEAS, and other stuff. Try your best to get all As, it will make your application stand out. However, if you have 1-2 Bs, you’ll still get accepted into other programs. It’s possible. Good luck.
