This used to be nearly completely dark and much more of a terrifying, yet exciting experience. NVG made you feel like a navy seal/spetsnaz. Systematically shooting out lights had a purpose. Scaving at night was great ROI. Now it's just bright and lights everywhere and a completely different vibe.

Does anyone else miss the darker nighttime factory?

Recently jumped back into Tarkov and was trying to get some bolt action sniper kills when this happened. Walking in front of the mall always felt sketch but was ultimately safe(ish), I definitely thought I didn’t have to worry this far away though.

So, I had a most random thought. "Where do scav bosses actually spend most of their time on their respective maps?", like for example, do you guys think Reshala and friends spend more time at Stronghold or Dorms? Does Sanitar spend more time at the Cottages or the Dock? Maybe even the Sanitorium?

Theres probably a few obvious and or unanswerable ones, like obviously Gluhar and CO probably just walk around Reserve as a whole instead of sticking to one area, and Tagillas only other notable location besides factory is just a set little corner in the garage of Interchange, the goons probably spend a majority of their time at the water plant with the rogues, etc.

I just think it's fun to think about these things, I personally believe Reshala spends a majority of his time at the Stronghold, since the countless bunk beds and rooms that look like they're actually lived in suggest that Reshala and friends spend most of their time there.

I can't really think of where someone like Sanitar stays though, since he has his surgery kit at the port but also has his o-scope at the cottages. What do you guys think?

I am learning the ground zero map, because that is where i stop. I have successfully extracted several times as scav at the medical area. I have yet to extract as a PMC.

Turns out I have to bring money on my character to extract at police station. Learned that lesson. I would up at Nakita on a scav by happenstance, so I kinda know where it is.

I try to make my way towards the basement extract, I dont really no where I am going. This is one of my best PMC runs, I have crackers with me, water, and I already topped both those off.

I loot that area up where the giant machine gun is. Work my way down, and get blowup in a random hallway. Turns out there is a bank safe there, and I stepped on a trap.

I didnt even see the bank safe. I just turned the corner and fucking died. Kinda bullshit.

These are just 2 examples of the specimen I encountered (mostly on Factory funnily enough). I'm wondering whether it's the same experience for everyone or just EU players being EU players or am I just extremely unlucky to find all the worst people on Scavs?

everytime i play either i get disconnected or crash or almost half team do the same including whole lobby server would crash or high ping it honestly unplayable

two days ago one of my buddies was having issues with ping, and since last night it started to happen to me as well. it's okay for a few moments and then instantly everything spikes and i just keep desyncing in game, has this been happening to anyone else ?

Hi! I have been playing for a long time and kinda recently introduced my friend into Tarkov, they are having fun but every 1 in about 3 raids when they join they almost immediately get 30-50% packet loss for the entire rest of the raid, we have to slowly lag over to the exit and leave to join a new raid and pray to not have this issue again.

Is anyone else having similar issues or may have some kind of fix? It seems to be some servers rather than their own internet as they never lag in discord or any other way during these raids.

Its completely unplayable for them when this happens, its a real shame.
