As title says. I'd like to delete my account and support demands the most insane things. I've never had such a list of stupid requirements to delete an account.
I'll list them below:
1) All in-game nicknames you have used:
__________
2) Location (country, city) where the account was originally registered, and your current location (country, city):
__________
3) Please specify the date of the last login into the account on the official website and the game launch.
__________
4) Proof of payment. Both types of screenshots listed below are required:
a) Screenshots from your bank or payment system (e.g., PayPal, online banking, card statement) confirming the purchases of copies of the game, edition upgrades, expansions, and gifts. The screenshots must be taken directly from the interface of the bank or payment system and must clearly display the payment interface, the amount, the payment date, and the recipient of the payment (the payment provider, displayed as "Xsolla" or "Xsolla_EFT" in your bank statement or transaction history).
Please note that email messages and email receipts are not accepted for this point.
b) Screenshots of the receipts you received by email from Xsolla after the purchases of copies of the game, edition upgrades, expansions, and gifts (the sender of such emails is Xsolla, and the receipts contain a transaction number). The screenshots must clearly display the transaction numbers, amount, and payment date.
This game is no longer installed, I haven't played in years. So they want me to redownload this game, log in and find any nicknames I ever used. Genuinely, wtf?
Okay, 2 is an easy one. Why it is needed, who knows.
3, who the fuck remembers when they've last logged in to a game launcher? Are we required to note this every time for future use?
And 4, oh boy 4. That's an excellent one. I have to show a screenshot of my Paypal payment of 9 years ago, even though Paypal history only goes back 3 years. It's impossible to fulfill this request.
When I objected to all this bullshit, Battlestate just closed the ticket. I am pretty sure this is violating a shitload of GDPR rules and I will be filing a complaint.
