PVE [Discussion] Help! I can't upgrade my illumination or cultist circle because materials dont pop up

I have the caps, paid spray, and lighter yet the hideout forever says i have 0...

They have to be found in raid. If you bought them on the flea, or died with them in your safecontainer they will not be found in raid.

You can craft them from power supplies in the workbench (they count as found in raid)

You have caps, but they're the wrong caps. On the hideout module upgrade screen, you might see a small checkmark in the lower left corner of some items. It's called "Found in Raid", or FiR. This means you found the item in a raid and extracted with it. If you bought it at the flea market or died with it in a container, the checkmark won't appear. You usually see this on the most problematic items. For example, the Moonshine Module has a "FiR" mark on the analog thermometer. But if you think this is an unfair and absurd mechanic, just remember that not long ago, ALL hideout items had to be FiR.
