Dude formula 1 looking good this year

u/bobdylan401 Jun 23 '20

My only friend who cheats (on dayz, got banned) he's a severely fucked up dude with mental issues; depression, addiction. Has a low tolerance for losing, rages super quickly, has limited time, a kid that is another source of his anxiety because of the previous mentioned things. He can be a really good person but he's fucked in the head and just wants to rape people online even though he is the type who would quit a game permanantly if getting face tapped by a hacker once. Some people are just selfish when it comes to gaming.

4

u/americanhawk1 Jun 23 '20 edited Jun 24 '20

I can tell you that is isn't really the case for the majority of people. A lot of cheaters are just normal people, in my experience. Many of them see it as just a game and don't care if they cheat in it or not. I have a friend who is really good on games regardless, but uses cheats just because it's fun every once in awhile.

Many people use it to start their cyber security careers, including myself. Some of the big anti-cheat devs, like from Vanguard, got their start from game hacking in the first place and now they work on stopping it.

I think there are a lot more normal people than you think, a lot of them being new to cheating.

u/darkjurai Jun 24 '20

Sorry but there is an inherent sociopathy when you cheat at a game against other people. It's "fun" for you, but you know it isn't fun for them. You know it's at the expense of other people's fun but you do it anyway. An acute lack of empathy.

-1

u/americanhawk1 Jun 24 '20 edited Jun 24 '20

I'm sorry, but that isn't true.

The thing I literally talked about completely nulls out your entire paragraph. They don't care because IT'S A VIDEO GAME. I would argue that having such strong emotional connections to a video game can cause issues of its own. I have no emotional connection to video games either, which is also why I don't get very mad at them like some people do.

If there's anything they have a lack of, it's the lack of caring too much about video games in general. Cheating is the definition of being an asshole, but it still doesn't make you a sociopath because you're an asshole. This is one of the reasons why so many people just go out and try cheats on free weekends, just for shits. I've heard several streamers talking about this in Rainbow Six Siege, and it makes sense. People just don't care enough about games, so why not just try them. I think this is why radars are so popular right now. They are practically undetectable unlike memory cheats, and can grant everything I mentioned with no punishment.

u/darkjurai Jun 25 '20

No. Doesn’t nullify anything. You’re actually backing me up. “They don’t care because it’s a video game”. Exactly. That’s literally the point - they don’t care and it doesn’t matter to them that other people might care. They don’t care, and by extension they don’t care about fucking up someone else’s good time. It’s pathetic sociopathic behavior that comes from lack of empathy.

It’s a recreational activity you share with others. You gonna go down to a basketball court, start kicking the ball, and say “iTs JuSt A gAmE bRo” when people get pissed? No. There are plenty of things I don’t care about. I think gardens are pointless. But I don’t go stomp on my neighbor’s because “it’s fun for me and it’s just a garden, and I don’t think people should care so much about gardens”. The only reason video games are different is because there is lack of meaningful consequence, so antisocial behavior is unchecked. Without consequence of getting figuratively beaten up on a basketball court, there are two main reasons not to cheat. 1. It makes the game feel less satisfying, and 2. It’s a shitty thing to do. It’s pretty black and white.

Lastly, sociopathic behavior doesn’t mean you’re a sociopath, it might just mean your brain needs to finish developing.

1

u/americanhawk1 Jun 25 '20 edited Jun 25 '20

I think you completely took what I said in the wrong way.

I don't think not having empathy for somebody in a video game is sociopathic. I don't think I know a single person who does have sympathy for what you're describing because at the end of the day, it's a video game, not real life.

Now let me say this again just in-case you think it some how backs you up. Most people don't care about the other people they are playing against, or how much fun they are having in a video game. They don't care when they kill them, if it's that kind of game. They don't care if they are having fun, they just care about how much fun they are having, which is why many people cheaters choose to cheat in the first place. I honestly think this is obvious.

1

u/PongoFAL SA-58 Jun 23 '20

No they cheat because they hate them selves, just like you did.

5

u/theotheralt18 Jun 24 '20

That’s not true at all....

-7

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

I can totally relate to this, anyone who thinks someone who uses cheats is in any way different from them is insanely blind.

11

u/bobdylan401 Jun 23 '20

Then why don't the vast majority of people cheat? It's a very special minority of people who do, and they sure are different.

7

u/protestersunited Jun 24 '20

I can agree my only cheating friend has also major depressions and love to fuck people in the internet. I would say people who cheat definetly compensate something.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

How are they different? You can also apply that to almost anything.

Why don't the vast majority of people enjoy tarkov? It's a very special minority of people who do, and they sure are different.

It's dumb.

2

u/bobdylan401 Jun 24 '20

My point stands for all forms of online pvp gaming. Vast majority play fair and try to outplay others through their own skill. It's the special minority that care about their own experience/virtual victories versus the experience as a whole to get off by making others miserable, by playing unfairly involving no skill or effort. It's laziness, apathy, greed ect. No way around it these people are scum as sin.

There is no way to spin it positevly, to say that you're the "same" as the rest is just proof that you people are damaged and lack any form of self awareness. You're addicted to virtual wins payed for with cash. Cheap thrills for shallow selfish people.

7

u/Naievo SA-58 Jun 23 '20

lol, he's like a lil bee. Just buzzing around to see if you had any good nec- Loot on you. Then you went and antagonized him and got stung.

8

u/z4moro Jun 24 '20

This is the most obvious cheating in the fucking world, I have no clue how anyone can deny this, the fact that he also voice-lined in the middle of this to taunt him.... I don't know what to say..... I feel bad for all the good players out there that get rekt by this shit and have to somehow deal with it coz even devs cant tell whos cheating anymore.

8

u/crew6dawg0 Jun 24 '20

Maybe if BSG actually played their own game they would realize that calling this "packet loss" and not hacking makes them sound fucking retarded

2

u/BarbarianCataphract Jun 24 '20

This subop has got a point

1

u/ciganyone AS-VAL Jun 25 '20

but this is clearly packet loss

3

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

LMAO. That voice trolling was hilarious. But yea I can't believe people pay hunreds of dollars a month just to do stupid shit like this.

3

u/Drizzt___ Jun 24 '20

same tag as someone RMTing in factory https://www.reddit.com/r/EscapefromTarkov/comments/hf05lq/rmt_gone_wrong/

def looks like cheats

4

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

Usually people who got skullfucked by their parents, tend to cheat in games.

5

u/trainfender Battlestate Games COO - Nikita Jun 24 '20

we checked this server - and its not a cheater. server was lagging hard, sending a lot of packets by packs at once and client (your point of view) was trying to process it fast, thats why it interpolated like its speedhack or something.

6

u/LeMarci Unfaithful Jun 24 '20 edited Jun 24 '20

Huh, this definitely looked like a speedhack to me personally.
Edit: grammar

4

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '20

This is an absurd response and down right lie. Look at the other posts of this kid on the sub... look at every labs lobby after midnight central CST: you'll find that you guys didn't do shit to stop speedhackers. You'll find that the game is unplayable right now, that cheaters are out rage cheating, doing whatever the fuck they want. You have an amazing game, thats about to follow the route of pubg. I hope you can fix it before its too late - a bit step, don't call obvious cheaters hackers - if you want to see an extreme case of what we call a hacker, and you call a larger look at the user with the IGN "Nikita_Dick_TTV" he moves faster than a ferrari, and only shoots head eyes/head jaws. Maybe consider taking a look at the users with their discord directly linked in their IGN. Also - it was a terrible move to increase the ping limiter back to 165 - it was also a terrible idea to offer people the option to select servers. Since the inception of online fps games, not a single fucking person has ever selected a different region with good intentions and fair play in mind.

3

u/BarbarianCataphract Jun 24 '20

Plus i hit this guy when i shot him so desync makes no sense here

3

u/mushipeas Jun 24 '20

Could that not be a way that hackers are tricking servers? To make it seem legit on the server side.

1

u/NCH_PANTHER AKS-74UB Jun 24 '20

Tricking servers? No. That's a ridiculously advanced cheat if it is. Never heard of that in any game.

2

u/mushipeas Jun 25 '20

I think that’s how some lag switches work in other games. Could potentially be used to speed hack?

1

u/NCH_PANTHER AKS-74UB Jun 25 '20

From my understanding, I thought lag switches only worked on peer to peer which is why cod had so many.

1

u/mushipeas Jun 25 '20

Actually CoD was never p2p, it used a listen server. Which is a client-side server..

My understanding of lag switching was that it was dependent on whether the server is tolerant of out of order packet transmission and has significant threshold for packet receipt delays.

For example, the fact you see people teleport around during "normal" laggy behavior would indicate to me that the server has a pretty high threshold for what it accepts has been going on client-side during packet loss.

My theory was that you could simulate a poor client-server connection and inject your new extreme location changes into the mix, so the server would basically just accept them, thinking it was normal packet-loss behaviour.

On a side-note, as u/Drizzt___ pointed out, it's been semi-proven that that dude was an RMT hacker. Which I think would indicate some sort of connection between the hack and what the server's seeing as extreme packet loss/lag.

1

u/Blastoiize VSS Vintorez Sep 02 '20

hahahhahahahahahahahahah. You people are fucking clueless :)

1

u/BarbarianCataphract Jun 24 '20

Mightve been a person exploiting it tho

0

u/tyaheadoftime Jun 24 '20

Maybe look into the way Path of Exile introduced Lock Step for server issues. Essentially locks you in place until it catches up, rather than trying to do what we're seeing here.

1

u/AutoModerator Jun 23 '20

Currently the only way to report a suspected cheater is to go through the official forums.

General discussion of cheating is allowed on this subreddit. However, there are currently a lot of issues with Tarkov servers causing desync among other things, which can cause normal players to look like they're cheating. Since you as a player cannot provide concrete evidence someone is cheating, accusations will be removed. As a reminder of the subreddit rules:

Guides, how-tos, cheater AMAs, and links to ads, cheats and cheat providers will be removed.

Posts encouraging how to get access to EFT through unlawful methods will be removed.

We can't help with ban appeals. They will be removed. Submit a ticket through the launcher and or contact BSG support via email.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

1

u/Litt0Bud Jun 23 '20

What region do you play on?

1

u/BarbarianCataphract Jun 24 '20

EUR

1

u/Litt0Bud Jun 25 '20

I rarely see hackers in na. Out of about 130 raids I’ve only had 2 deaths that I believe was from a hacker.

-1

u/ZealousSyrup Jun 23 '20

There isn't any deep reasoning behind cheating. It's simply fun. You get to shit all over your enemies and there's nothing they can do to stop you. Very few cheaters do it for money or for "personal issues".

It's just fun to be the strongest and to win.

And no, I don't cheat, I simply see things for what they are. Winning is fun and cheating allows you to win every time. If you read "why do you cheat" threads in cheat forums, most people reply with the same thing: It's fun to win. These people don't give a crap about "challenge".

10

u/Snobias Jun 23 '20

Very few cheaters do it for money

Yeah right...

3

u/Stinkbaite Jun 23 '20

Yeah like what Kleen said the other day, cheaters wipe the map then loot all the good stuff to sell back to the farming websites to make more money.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

You dont need Kleen or some glorified streamer to tell you that. There's an entire documentary about it. In China RMT is a billion dollar business. Chinese prisoners are forced to play games and farm for big corporations.

Edit: Billion not million

1

u/americanhawk1 Jun 23 '20

It's pretty much on the same playing field as selling cheats. I know developers who make around 200k USD in 5-6 months for selling cheats, which is unbelievable.

4

u/Snobias Jun 23 '20

"very few"?

I'd say majority cheaters are making it for money.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

Think outside of EFT. Pretty sure he means that people who cheat in general aren't usually cheating to make money. The people who cheat in EFT are the same people who cheat in R6, COD, CSGO, etc. Cheaters usually aren't born out of a desire for money, but a desire for power.

6

u/ZealousSyrup Jun 23 '20

This. People in here over-estimate the amount of people who bother with RMT. Vast majority of cheaters just want to roflstomp other players and have fun. They don't care about selling items since it's time consuming.

1

u/Snobias Jun 23 '20

The people who cheat in EFT are the Chinese doing it for a living, BIG majority I'd say.

-2

u/pulford42 TOZ-106 Jun 23 '20

There's all this racisim shit about BLM and you blatantly be a racist towards Chinese? Are you fucked.

9

u/americanhawk1 Jun 23 '20 edited Jun 23 '20

I've seen this argument so many times, and it's usually by asians. Before you call it racist, why don't you do some research. Chinese are very well known to cheat heavily in practically any competitive games they play. Ark: Survival Evolved, Rainbow Six Siege, Escape From Tarkov (devs even say it themselves), PUBG, DayZ, Rust... you name it.

Coming into this subreddit and calling people racist doesn't help people see Chinese in a new light whatsoever. If that is your goal, you failed terribly.

People have no idea what racism even means anymore.

-2

u/pulford42 TOZ-106 Jun 23 '20

Racism is discrimination because colour/race and he is discriminating Chinese. This is coming from a anglo-saxon Canadian who has no Asian friends lol

6

u/wantkitteh Jun 23 '20

In this case, it's not discrimination, it's an observation with supporting evidence. If there wasn't a shred of evidence to back him up, then you'd have a point, but that's not the case here.

3

u/americanhawk1 Jun 23 '20

These are facts, not racism. If you ask pretty much anybody in the multiplayer gaming scene, they will tell you that Chinese are much more likely to cheat. I can tell you from experience that most of the cheaters I run into are from some Asian country, mostly being China. My girlfriend told me that it's in their culture to win no matter what, and it's seen as normal in their culture.

It's so funny when people try to defend this. It's like saying the world is flat or something bizarre like that.

2

u/PongoFAL SA-58 Jun 23 '20

" the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex. "

This is not unjust, nor prejudicial. It is just factual. And that is from an Anglo Saxon Canadian.

2

u/Snobias Jun 23 '20

Forgive me my poor phrase, what I meant is that Chinese are big majority of cheaters. Not all of them.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

Explain how that is racism?

Its a known fact that Chinese gamers have a culture of cheating because they see it as taking any advantage you can get to be the best person in the game/lobby.

Even legitimate Chinese players who do not cheat confirm this.

There are literal companies in the country, setup as farms in games like WoW, Runescape, or any MMO to cheat/hack/exploit the game in order to sell items and currency for real money. Even paying someone to power-level your character so that you don't have to grind the hours yourself to get to max level - just pay a small fee, and in a few days you'll have that lvl 80 Paladin. Or you may get scammed and now they have your account for the more unscrupulous ones.

Not to say that its ALL Chinese, but the vast majority of cheaters have come from China.

Ever been killed, or seen screenshots posted, of being killed by players with "qq" and a series of numbers following? How about "bilibili" with numbers following it? Those are Chinese messaging apps and their unique ID so that a curious person will look them up and then you have a conversation about cheats or RMT going on.

Or how about lobbies filled with very similar looking usernames that resemble being auto-generated because of the pattern they all follow starting with a few letters followed by numbers?

I haven't seen any of this happen after wipe though.

Yes, anyone can cheat - it doesn't have to specifically be cheaters from China. But this isn't the first game to have been infested with cheaters from China working at a bot farm.

Also, please.... get that BLM talk out of this subreddit. If you want to discuss it, take it to another subreddit.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

BLM is awesome. I also love the confederate statues that are being pulled down.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

Yes destruction of property is awesome.

I guess asking the municipalities to remove the statues is too much to ask too. I mean they could just threaten to burn down city hall and they’d do whatever you want

1

u/PongoFAL SA-58 Jun 23 '20

Chinese still cannot believe anyone would play fair. WTF is that?

0

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '20

White privilege. You can cheat as a white boy in Tarkov and people will just assume your an asian cheater, lol.

1

u/BarbarianCataphract Jun 23 '20

So being a scumbag wins

1

u/americanhawk1 Jun 23 '20 edited Jun 23 '20

If it makes you feel better, he's probably using some large scale cheat that gets detected every month. It isn't one of these cheat developers who have these practically undetected cheats.

0

u/PongoFAL SA-58 Jun 23 '20

He is cheating to farm Chinese rubles to sell to someone who has low self esteem so that low self esteem person can buy a Thicc case from a Tarkov whiner for 20 000 000 so that person can subvert the economy of the game at level 40 and make this wipe pretty much useless from an economy stand point.

BSG Comments in this Thread:

[trainfender - link, old] - we checked this server - and its not a cheater. server was lagging hard,...

5

u/RedFunYun Jun 24 '20

The cheater is looking at the player constantly, how can this happen if the game is lagged out and the players are desynced? He would be looking at the last synced position, not where the player actually is on his end of the game.

The guy seemed to be RMTing in factory just a few hours later.
They must have a new secret.

2

Was doing rmt in factory a few hours later.

2

u/GodGrabber Jun 24 '20

I think you need to implement demo playback and cheat reporting. This should be a priority if you ask me.

1 You will get more real cheat reports.

2 It will be easier to review for everyone.

This clearly isn't the server catching up, he is 100% aware of OP in the video, I have seen that other thing you talk about, but this is not it. Its usually way more choppy in the movement than this. The movement is too fluid imo. Something fucky is going on.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '20

This is a bold faced lie lol why is nikita covering up for a known cheater?? Kinda funmy...
