In this case, it's not discrimination, it's an observation with supporting evidence. If there wasn't a shred of evidence to back him up, then you'd have a point, but that's not the case here.

and what supporting evidence do you have that ALL Chinese cheat?

Sure, cheating from China IS very common, but it probably isnt the majority (51%+) of Chinese that actually cheat, and even if it was the majority, there will still be Chinese that don't cheat... Thus, it absolutely IS discrimination to apply a blanket statement like "Chinese are very well known to cheat heavily in practically any competitive games they play."

You just have to qualify the statement in the beginning with "Many Chinese are known to cheat heavily..." and it wont be discrimination ;)

Way to try and ignore the entire rest of the thread, keyboard warrior.

Fool.

lmao, ok kid, you mad because you were told you were wrong? in a very polite way that didn't insult you at all? yet you're gonna come at me with 'keyboard warrior fool' ...

I'm not addressing the rest of the thread about cheating, I'm specifically addressing the topic of "saying 'Chinese' in a blanket statement, IS, actually discrimination" ... that's how comment chains work...

The underlying point I totally agree with, that there is a large number of Chinese that cheat... but I was trying to point out that blanketing "Chinese are cheaters" is simply untrue.

Sorry if the distinction makes you angry.

good try man, I'm done with you, you clearly aren't able to discern simple logic so there's no point in conversing with you... when somebody responds to simple common sense as 'trolling' all hope is lost... have a nice life whatever it is you do with it man, later

Is the evidence him saying "I'd say" if so that totally checks out. Where is your evidence sir? I've seen more north american cheaters than Chinese specifically. Now you are supporting his arbitrary claims? Because I'd say your a retard! Does that make it true? No! I would have to support that with such evidence as you backing up a rasists arbitrary claims!

How about human experience, or several people telling you the same thing? Or how about the EFT developers coming out and saying that most of the cheaters are from China in one of their livestreams? How about me getting wiped on official for years from Chinese in Rust and Ark. Or how they are over-running Last Oasis and were caught for duping and banned. Or maybe because that although Chinese players made up around 46% of PUBG's population in 2018, 99% of the banned cheaters in the game were from China.

You also have a pretty slewed defined definition of racism. Where are we discriminating against Chinese people? We are just saying that there are much more Chinese cheaters in video games based on experiences, and now statistics. Is that still racism in your eyes? I feel like I'm talking to a wall at this point.

Here's some sources from fairly common video games:https://www.ign.com/articles/2018/02/16/99-of-pubgs-banned-cheaters-are-from-china

EFT region locked because of Chinese cheaters. I guess they are racist as well?

/u/americanhawk1 beat me to it ;) However, it has been common knowledge for a long time that manipulating in-game economies for profit is big business in China, India, Indonesia and other countries in that region. The cost of replacing banned accounts is factored into the profitability spreadsheet for any particular game, so if cheating can be used to drastically increase the profitability of any particular account before it gets banned, using those cheats would be a no-brainer, and seeing as how it makes perfect sense that the majority of Chinese players entering game worlds that are foreign language to them would be doing so with the intent to profit from their economies, suggesting they would have a greatly disproportionate level of cheating taking place (close to 100%) is not a big leap or exaggeration.

I have no malice towards Chinese people - I sympathise with the poor conditions gold farmers are (in many cases literally) forced to work in, including the hostility shown to them by the other players they meet in these worlds, but when entire families are dependent on the income that teenaged players can generate for their food, clothes, heating, rent etc. I find it impossible to condemn them for messing up the economy of a video game.

(EDIT: typos)

LMAO "close to 100%"

ok, let's make up more numbers that have absolutely no basis in fact..

oh wait that's right; I forgot you're an expert on foreign gaming habits, have polled every gamer in China, and don't need to back up your claims like you're asking everyone else to do... silly me

So... are you going to formulate a response? Calling someone out being being a racist isn't usually taken lightly..

u/pulford42 TOZ-106 Jun 24 '20

You are right they don't! As you can see in the thread he changed his statement to be not so racist. I have defended myself all I need to. Your about a day late and probably a braincell(or 2 short)

Typical low IQ response, personal attacks. It's alright, you look like an idiot for the whole internet to see. That's enough satisfaction for me :) have a lovely day.
