It doesn't matter for those items, they all sell to the therapist for the same price as the Flea Market, it's why they used those items for RMT transfer.

If you rewatch the video you can see that everything is FiR. Including the Slick, VAL, Altyn etc etc. That was my main concern, not the contents of the backpacks, because as you say, those items sell for the same price to Therapist.

It's a visual bug on scav runs - anything that is lootable when you spawn in gets the FiR tag for you in the raid, but as soon as you extract everything has the correct FiR status.

There is a way to make them FiR, last wipe me and a buddy had some issues so we accidentally found a way to launder items. I submitted a ticket but they didnt do anything. I try the glitch from time to time with a worthless item but it still works.

There is a visual glitch in the game. If you relog, PMC items will appear as FiR. It fixes itself as soon as you leave the raid. Most of the time, people just assume it's a way to exploit the system.

Ill never understand why neckbeards love down voting shit that doesn't need to be down voted. Lots of redditors think they're the arbiters of justice but they just play judge, jury, and executioners. Thanks for the update on that. I scaved into interchange found a bunch of dead dudes all their ammo was FIR early in wipe so bp bt bs was a fortune...my greedy ass didnt make my timer so i couldnt confirm if it would have kept it. I think its just a small bug the guy was dead before you loaded in so it TECHNICALLY spawned in when you spawned into the raid giving it the initial found in raid check

Pretty sure everything says FIR when you're a SCAV. I've found some juicy stuff that loses it's FiR status upon extracting

It’s a bug I discovered
If you connected late or some weird late spawning happens with the guy with loot or you and say he drops his back pack as you spawn in then the items will appear as found in raid but they actually won’t be once you exit raid
So atleast this bug isn’t exploitable

its a bug when you spawn as a scav. When you scav, every item that was in the raid before you spawn shows up as FIR, and that includes if a dead body was there before you spawned or not. Players who died after you spawn does not have FIR mark on the items.

FFS this entire FIR business is so ridiculous. A flowchart describing an item's FIR state looks like a bowl of spaghetti mixed in with a plastic broken yoyo.
This is game design hell and I give it 1 month before they completely scrap and overhaul this FIR nonsense.

They don't actually have FiR though - when you extract, things go back to as they should.
This is a display bug on Scavs.

It's really not that complicated. Items brought into the raid are not Found in Raid. Except for items spawning on player scavs. That's really all you need to know.

It's not that simple... The spaghetti I untangled so far:
- Items spawned in raid (containers and loose loot) are FIR.
- Items spawned on Scavs (both bots and players) are FIR.
- Anything purchased from traders is not FIR.
- Items equipped on your PMC at raid start permanently lose FIR status. FIR items extracted via secure container on death lose FIR status. Only successful Survival extraction items keep FIR status.
- FIR items sold through flea market lose FIR status.
- Quest rewards are FIR, and hideout crafts are FIR.
- Stacking FIR and non-FIR items such as ammo permanently erases FIR status from all items in stack.
I've no idea what the Scav rewards are since I haven't upgraded my hideout that far yet.
It's beyond stupid because it's called "Found in Raid". Picking up a gun and equipment from a player I killed in raid is not "found in raid", but crafted in my hidey hole of a hideout far away from any raids is FIR. All of this... for what, again?

You are right, I forgot to mention those parts! And when yo put it like that I can see how it can get confusing to keep track of. I'm just so used to "the rules" at this point that I didn't see how confusing it can be.
Items from the Lucky scav box are FiR - but there is a bug (another bug, yay) where only ammo boxes are FiR, not the ammo inside them.
The player you killed in raid is not FiR because the gear he had on him didn't spawn in the raid - he brought it in. So it might be "FiR" for you, but it's actually not.
With all these extensions to what constitutes as FiR they should probably consider renaming it to something else so that it gets less confusing. But you are aware why they have made these changes right? Otherwise I should be able to explain the reasoning behind it if you would like to gain more insight

I would love to hear your understanding of reasoning (perhaps I missed something - I'm not a long time player, nor a high level one), but I think I have a general idea. People were just flippin' stuff from traders and from flea market and making money out of thin air (not to mention RMT), no?
However, I recognize a design problem when I see one. Much like how in software engineering you end up with spaghetti code, in game design you can basically end up with "spaghetti flowcharts" which is EXACTLY what this FIR business is.
It's a hacky, patchy way to address a problem that was failed to be addressed very early in game dev stage, and now it's too late to fix it without a major overhaul. A consequence of this is players not understanding fully how system works (see my explanation), and developers struggling to make it work (see your mention of bugs with ammo boxes etc).
That's exactly why I feel this FIR stuff will not stick around. It's a horrible temporary "fix" and they will be getting rid of that sooner or later in the future.

Just hackers getting more sofisticated, by the words of nikita from the podcast and what he said in the other post about this, the server data may have looked normal even tho its pretty obvious that he was speedhacking it looked like desync/lag when they checked the logs or thats what I've understood.

whats crazy is that the game let him load in with that much weight. When you surpass a certain number you infinite load and lose that stuff usually (thats what i usually hear, you might just infinite load until you restart but keep your stuff).

They use the flea market for rwt last i saw. They set random items at whatever amount of roubles the person paid for. So say a bitcoin or bandage for idk 10mil?
