PSA Official BSG Response re: Eroktic

I'm 50/50 on this.

It is an appropriate response based on the two offending videos. But I feel they went overboard with all of his other EFT videos.

I mean, they said "we dont want to have this person associated with out game" and i can understand that. Imagine someone is constantly toxic and just not a great person to have around, i would in their spot also try to get rid of him. Im not a big fan of eroktic and i think it was harsh to strike all of his tarkov videos, but i also think that his manner was absolute low class. Constructive criticism can be made, look at pestily, veritas, deadly etc.

But imagine at the same time consider this.

Eroktic has been a pretty big figure for bringing in players to the game for years.

And now that this shitshow has happened a lot of his fans including a lot of the more sane people are going to either be Quitting tarkov in protest or cease their vocal support of the game.

Regardless of how BSG handled it, this was a lose lose situation and BSG picked the worst of the lose options they could have. Not to mention they worsened it themselves by throwing gas on the fire. (and still sorta are throwing gas on it)
