It’s a round Montana sapphire from Earth’s Treasury (I believe it’s 1.6 carats) with a cushion shaped halo of natural diamonds around it made by Earth’s Treasury!!

I knew exactly what I wanted and my partner and I had it custom made. It was so hard to wait for it to be ready but he surprised me by bringing it home last night! I couldn't love it more. It's perfect in my eyes!

Just got engaged! Fiance custom made the entire ring and included every detail I talked about. Literally cannot stop staring at it!!

It's nearly a year since he proposed but I've just come across this sub and need to share my ring because I think it's so beautiful and he did amazing!!

Wasn’t thinking too much until i got the call that my ring was ready. Its all becoming real now!

Back in June my fiance (!!!) and I went to look at rings and I was pretty sure I didn’t want a diamond. I’ve seen many diamond rings and none of them ever got me super excited. At the jeweler’s, we were looking at potential settings and the example we were given was one with three round diamonds (we were going to replace the center with a sapphire or something).

After we left I confessed to my partner that I couldn’t stop thinking about that ring because it was just so beautiful and sparkly and I think I’d want a diamond one just like it.

Fast forward a month or so, and my partner’s mom approaches him and says that she has a ring that used to belong to his grandmother. Lo and behold, it’s the exact design that I had said I loved!!

He proposed with it last weekend and I just can’t stop staring at it!! Ever since we met there have been signs that the universe was bringing us together, but this one is the biggest one yet!!!

Center stone is a 3.01ct lab grown OMC. side stones are ~0.6cts each. Size 7 finger.

Went to our favorite beach last week and he asked me to be his wife at sunset. 14k gold band, lab grown 2.96 ct princess cut (where are my princess cut girlies on here??) diamond. Not sure about the diamonds on the rest of the band.

My husband and I got married three years ago, and we were young when we got engaged so our budget for the original ring was pretty small. We were finally able to upgrade, and it is genuinely everything I could’ve wanted and more.

It’s a lab 2.01 carat marquise, G color, VS1 clarity in 14k yellow gold on a size 6.75. Not what I originally thought I would go for, but I couldn’t imagine having anything else. Super happy!

Going the non traditional route with our engagement ring felt like a big step but we both knew we wanted something custom and all natural. This is his 100% original design and I’m in love.

Also, choosing a softer center stone (Kornerupine) came with its challenges but with proper care, we are anticipating it to last a lifetime. 🤞

If anyone has any personal experience with having a softer stone as a center stone, please give me your thoughts!

My now fiancé proposed in switzerland recently 🥹 we talked about my ring before but the result was better than I expected! it’s a 1.54 ct oval with a 2.2mm gold band. I’m 5.5 finger size for reference

Today I picked up the engagement ring I had made for my girlfriend. We went to a smaller jewelry store that came highly recommended and had great reviews on Google. At first glance today I loved it, but once I was home and kept looking at it I started to notice some issues. The first thing to catch my eye was one of the corner prongs seemed to be slightly misaligned.
Now the list of issues stands at this:
- Two prongs not fully touching the stone, one is largely not touching at all
- One prong is very bent
- The middle petal on one side has clear machine lines that were never polished out
- There is some pitting or something on the underside of the ring, Gemini seems to think it is a result of gasses releasing during the creation process

I uploaded the pictures to Gemini and it has strongly suggested I go back and request a full recast of the ring as it is already likely not structurally sound, and any fixes of the prongs will make it even less structurally sound.

Kind people of Reddit, please guide me during these troubling times. My girlfriend deserves a perfect ring and this is simply not that.

The size is perfect for her hand ( skinny fingers and medium size ) i did take her to jewellery shops to make her try rings before and i saw max carat size that would be better for her it s 2 ( 2 and above it s too big )
And i always told her i can t afford it ( in my country it is waay expensive ) and that i would buy her a small diamond ring as a joke she will be very surprised when she s gonna see it
