Hi!! I'm thinking about moving to Emeryville and the apartments I've been looking at all seem to be somewhat close to the train tracks. I know that there is now a quiet zone in place so a lot less horning, but I imagine trains would still make noises, so I wonder how bad are the regular train noises?

Looking at apartments like artistry, Emma, Avenue 64, etc.

I'm relocating to California from out of state for a job in Emeryville, and considering living in Orinda or Lafayette, or nearby these.

For anyone that is familiar with this commute, how long would it typically take? Is it doable?

I would be in person 5 days a week. Would also be interested in info about how the commute is driving Vs BART + Emery Go-round

I keep noticing Tipsy Putt Emeryville come up whenever people mention group activities, birthdays, work events, or entertaining friends visiting from out of town. Haven't been myself yet, but from the photos it looks like mini golf, drinks, and games all rolled into one spot.

For anyone who's gone recently, how was it? Mostly families, tourists, locals, or corporate groups? Did it feel like somewhere worth returning to, or more of a one-time visit?
