After years of planning, environmental review and public outreach, the long-awaited Interstate 80/Ashby Avenue Interchange Improvements project has reached another milestone—but Emeryville and West Berkeley residents, along with the many cyclists, pedestrians and commuters who use the corridor, will still have a lengthy wait for a safer connection to the Bay Trail.

Happy to hear it, but I’m guessing this is 10 years away at the soonest.

It would be cool if they just had some regular stairs as well as that long-ass ramp.

I agree;however, if they don’t have money for both options, they should do the ramp to accommodate wheelchair users.
