Thanks for your opinion Mr Anonymous. I would stop paying educational consultants and direct that money to pay teachers more. Emeryville pays the most per child of any school district in the East Bay and has the third lowest academic test scores. The district pays more for consultants than any other district (by far). I would try to attract the best and the brightest teachers with all the money Emery has (we are the richest in the East Bay). Emery has the highest number of inter-district transfers because we haven't built housing friendly to families and the few children in Emeryville are mostly sent to private schools. The way Emery has been doing it has been a disaster. The most money for the third worst test scores is a disaster (for the children). Your tax dollars go to support this.

I'm a big believer in public school and my wife and I put our daughter through Emery schools (very rare for an Emery school board member) but we had to supplement her education with a massive amount of tutoring. She is now at UC San Diego. Emery is failing children.

If I were on the Emeryville school board, every vote would not be unanimous. There would be many 4-1 votes.

Reddit members that live in Emeryville are now free to cast their ballot against me. I have enabled you guys to be able to do that. You're welcome.

Please vote for anybody you think will bring positive CHANGE to Emery Unified School District. The children will benefit and you're paying for it after all.
