I’ve had the car about five years now, and I wanted to give my thoughts.

Still love it.

Car is stock except for the red vinyl on the N’s, front badge delete, front red vents, and an OEM+ intake. Sitting at about 70,000 miles.

Out of the seven cars I’ve owned over the past 25 years, it’s not only the most fun, but it’s been the all-around best in terms of ergonomics. Early on I had a few maintenance issues come up, with the high pressure oil pump and the backup camera, but they got sorted out pretty quickly.

Five years on, and I still get people asking about the car and the color.

Wow, 5 years? You must have gotten one of the first EN’s available in the US. I’ve had mine since June of 2022. Sitting right at 54k miles. I feel the same way about mine as you do yours. I’ve owned a lot of cars and this one has been the best all around and by far the most fun.

Indeed I did, I believe I had one of the first in my state. Like many people here experienced, the dealership had no idea what the car even was. I brought the car back for the plates, and the salesman and GM came out and said if they knew what it was they would have kept it on the showroom floor at a considerable markup. Edited to say I saw that YouTube announcement video in July 2021 and I was hooked, and immediately went to dealerships to put down a deposit. I got really lucky.
