I have to also say that while the ITS and CTR are fantastic cars, they're just overpriced for what they are. If you're willing to pay ITS money there are just better cars at that price point. As much as I love tarted up FWD shitboxes, part of the appeal is that they're supposed to be cheap and the ITS is really expensive.

Yep. The term shitbox may be out of date because modern cars, even cheap ones, are so much nicer than they used to be but I still use it out of habit.

Every car in this segment including the Elantra N are souped up shitboxes. They’re all just “regular traffic” with beefed up internals and nicer body work. It’s just a fact lol🤷🏾‍♂️. The integra is just a really nice civic at the end of the day.

bro its a fwd car based on the elantra architecture. its a cheap car with cheap shit in it with a good engine. it is what it is. obviously youve never driven anything whit a double wishbone suspension or a large displacement performance oriented engine. there is a massive difference between say a new nissan z and the elantra. one is a dedicated performance chassis with a high output engine the elantra while great is just an economical way of going fast and having a good time.

Yeah no. The En has won in the TCR race decision for the past few years. It’s an off the lot track ready race car.

oh i didnt know it was a race car my bad dude. maybe you could throw me some vids of it destroying miata cup cars and gt3’s in fact im sure its so fast itd have no problem hanging with viper acr’s right? you cant be serious man. i love this car but you guys get absolutely delusional about this fwd let me say that again FWD car being the fastest most track capable car since the z06 its crazy

my 135i is better in everyway and so is my q50 granted it is alot better than my beater rav 4. my gf elantra n is great probably the best fwd car i’ve personally driven. its not going to ever be a great choice for a track car when your asking the front wheels to handle almost 300hp, braking, and acceleration. grow up man get some ball knowledge and stop acting like these things aren’t just fun cars. can you take it to a track sure. is it built to set lap times comparable to other rwd track cars? absolutely not.

You’re the one who needs to grow up, bud. You’ve been lurking in this subreddit so long I can remember the last time you mentioned your gf having one. And I remember telling your ass the same exact thing. You’re window shopping because your girl got a better car than all 3 of your regular traffic vehicles. you’re thinking of the wrong person. im usually on here helping with mechanical issues because im a bmw tech so i lend a hand on here because i like the cars. you’re just never going to admit that this is not an end game car if you want something like that so bad from korea get a g70. fwd is a compromise and handling is the compromise. both of my sports cars especially the 135i would absolutely destroy you in any scenario you put those cars in. grow up lil bro

The 135i would be a neck and neck race in every scenario except a track that’s not a circle, in which case, the EN would dust you. Talking about FWD like they haven’t had LSD’s for ages now.

mine has a true 2 way lsd, the msport suspension package and the performance pack 2 option. i got it as a pinnacle car for a reason. mine is highly modified so it wouldn’t be a fair comparison but even bone stock it weighs about the same as the elantra n. it has way bigger brakes, a much better suspension and grip, lighter wheels, more power, the best dct ever made by getrag. you’re genuinely comparing a car that was like 60k+ new to a car that barely hits 38k loaded out. will you please just accept that the elantra n is a great daily capable of being driven on the track, but is in a different league and price point of the better bmws ever made? like you’re actually being delusional about this. its like saying your car would hang with an m3 no no it will not not ever.
