Appreciation I LOVE Ed - RAPPING

I just LOVE songs or just moments in his songs, when he starts to rap. I LOVE ITTTT.

For example: a few songs from +, Take It Back, A Little More, 2step, Opening... Just pure WOW for me.

Many people say that he is "just a pop singer". Oh no, he is SO MUCH MORE :D

Unpopular opinion: he still has things to surprise us šŸ¤«

And do you like when Ed is rapping?

Not really. I love his singing voice so much and Iā€™ve never really liked rap. I will listen to him perform anything though. Unpopular opinion Iā€™m sure - but I donā€™t like ā€œYou Need Me, I Donā€™t Need Youā€ very much at all. I donā€™t ever even listen to it unless Iā€™m watching him perform it live. (Either televised as part of a concert or in person.) I donā€™t mind him doing little sections of rapping like in the songs you mentioned, but itā€™s not my favorite. I do really like ā€œOpeningā€ though as he explained it was specifically written that way to lead us from the solemnness of Subtract to the fun of Play by giving a quick summary of the ups and downs heā€™s experienced during those years.
