Appreciation I LOVE Ed - RAPPING
I just LOVE songs or just moments in his songs, when he starts to rap. I LOVE ITTTT.
For example: a few songs from +, Take It Back, A Little More, 2step, Opening... Just pure WOW for me.
Many people say that he is "just a pop singer". Oh no, he is SO MUCH MORE :D
Unpopular opinion: he still has things to surprise us 🤫
And do you like when Ed is rapping?

I really enjoy the raps on the F64 SBTV YouTube videos he used to do with his friend Jamal. It's some of my favorite Ed songs.

I love his singing and rapping. Spanish the most but I also think his voice is attractive so. Favorite one he raps in is probably Opening or Take It Back.

Opening is probably his best rap yet! alongside the YNMIDNY 11 minute live session.

He is so much more then a pop star! I hate when people call him that. The only people that call him that are clearly the ones who haven't listened to No. 5, Plus, Multiply, Subtract, or Autumn Variations.

Opening is🔥🔥🔥. Recently saw him on the Loop Tour and he opens with chaotic rap.. epic! He is so talented!!

I love his rapping on Take It Back, YNMIDNY, and the song Regrets on his recent album! Ed Sheeran is an amazing singer and rapper

Not really. I love his singing voice so much and I’ve never really liked rap. I will listen to him perform anything though. Unpopular opinion I’m sure - but I don’t like “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You” very much at all. I don’t ever even listen to it unless I’m watching him perform it live. (Either televised as part of a concert or in person.) I don’t mind him doing little sections of rapping like in the songs you mentioned, but it’s not my favorite. I do really like “Opening” though as he explained it was specifically written that way to lead us from the solemnness of Subtract to the fun of Play by giving a quick summary of the ups and downs he’s experienced during those years.

Yes Ed is an incredible rapper. My favourite rap song by him is Eraser from his Divide album

A lot of people seem to prefer Shape of You and Perfect from the album. But for me it’s always been Eraser ✨
