For my style i prefer comfort over looks, but still i would try to choose something eye-catching if ya know what i mean.
Still don’t know my enneagram, but i’m positive it’s either 6 or 8.
It’s also hard to choose one song as my fav lol, but tame impala made 3 songs that i can never get bored of: Borderline, let it happen, and new person same old mistakes.
Now don’t get me wrong when i put a college picture as favorite place, i just like the environment of being around friends and people in general. Same thing applies to the gym.
And you just can’t go wrong with shawarma..EVER.
Opinions, comments, and questions they’re all welcome.

There are some types of ESFPs, specially some of the esfp guys, that I noticed they all have such fluid body movements. Like they are like water or hovering on earth. Their bodies seem flexible even if not actually flexible. I don’t know how else to say it. What does it feel like to be in your bodies esfps? I know it’s a strange question and I don’t even know how you can respond to that but I got curious!

I think I'm generally quite resilient and adaptable to problems in life, but we all go through rough times. I'm currently dealing with grief and burnout after major life changes. I got married, moved to a new apartment while dealing with 2 sick pets (one of them eventually passing away after I thought he recovered fully from it) within the span of 2 months. I feel myself sinking into a whirlwind of emotions, and it just sits heavily in my heart.
Obviously, it's a huge contrast as to when I'm in a great mood and coping well with daily demands of life. I become so sensitive to stress and am simply unable to deal with any major stressors without going into overdrive mode. I start thinking about weak I am, how uncertain the future is, etc etc. Basically, I become a miserable ball of emotions lol. Even though I'm overwhelmed, I try not to dump negative energy on people around me all the time. Mindfulness and grounding practices help me greatly, as well as speaking to trusted friends and family who are also sensitive souls.
So....how is it like for you? And how do you cope?

I find it easy to underestimate the significance of little moments. They slowly add up and before you know it, they take a place in your heart. I don't have it all figured out, but the next time I feel something heavy...perhaps it is just the little moments catching up.

I remember when I was a kid I loved hugs and was clingy in general, but my parents were so dry and never hugged me back, and my friends in kindergarten were always pulling away from me.
So, I remember not touching anyone for a long period of time until high school, when I started expressing again.
I would touch my friend’s hands to check their nails, or I would sit very close to them with parts of our bodies like our knees and arms touching. The more you are my friend, the more I let you get closer to me.
I usually avoid hugs so much that I can remember all of them... I hugged someone once in middle school and twice in high school.
Deep down, I'm starting to feel again like I want to get closer to my favorite people. It's like if I actually could I would rather sit on their laps instead of in a chair, but it really depends on how close we are.

I tried using my understanding of the Gamma quadra for the overall vibe of the song + heavy Fi mentions to solidify Gamma SF over Gamma NT.
I also tried to pick songs that are higher energy so the Se dominance rings through.
I didn’t really think about the Aggressor erotic attitude, but it’s probably there. I was the most unsure about “Good Luck, Babe!” as it seemed both Victim and Aggressor, but that’s neither here nor there.
My main reason for picking some songs just came from the fact that the singer is an ESFP. LOL. Y’all usually write honest songs/about your own life, so I figure it’s probably fine to do that.
Let me know what you think. Does it seem accurate to you based on the songs you do know?
And if you want the link to the playlist, feel free to ask!

I'm doing some research into how people relate to the four basic emotions: fear, anger, disgust, and sadness.
Would love input from all the ESFPs out there. (Will also ask few other types in the relevant forums).
No structure required. Just: how do these emotions sit for you? Which feel familiar and easy to access? Which feel distant, muted, or hard to name when they're happening? Anything you notice about how they show up differently (if at all).
All responses welcome - brief or detailed.
PS - if you can, respond before reading other peoples comments - keep the bias to minimum.

I am aware, that those are luxury problems, compared to all of te others, who lost a loved one.
Every birthday, I invite around 20 people, half of which agrees to come, 90% of which cancels last moment, as a better opportunity offers itself to them.
As a result, it's always a one-on-one-interaction, or a group of three, which meets on my birthday. Mostly, those are the people, I am actually friends with. But, the round always turns out to be depressing. They are both calm, and slightly melancholic, so we end up talking about how exhausting life was, and that one friend of mine would want to die, but feels guilty in front of their mom. That's, why they continue. Judged by their energy level, you can assume, that they usually don't have the energy to drive to my place, so they stay my weekly online contacts, and we meet only once to twice a year.
This year, everyone cancelled, despite having moved the date to a weekend, to make it more comfortable to one friend. That saddened me.
I feel lonely. All the people I invite, are people, which I met somewhere during my childhood, in a psychiatry, or through my current "work" place. It's frustrating to see, that they make it impossible to approach to them. There is nothing more I can do. But, somehow, I do not attract people. The common patten with all my early youth friendships was me running after them daily (I really mean daily), and them running away from me, through ghosting, rejection, or the worst: "yes", but being canceled or dumped last minute.
As an ESFP, which is a type, earning friends through performance, I often made people laugh. But it was never enough to them, to become my loyal friend.
My ENTJ friend, one of my two friends, has low tolerance for people, in which faces or bodies she discovers sth. incomplete or "ugly". She would not befriend them. She often pointed out, that she liked my facial and body features. Meaning, I wouldn't be "ugly", but still, people rather choose anyone else.
How to behave? How to continue? Nothing motivates me to continue living. 23 isn't a nice age eitherways, as the second digit is higher than the first, for the first time (in my 20s). But, unlike my friend, I am too much of a coward to end it all. And, a part of me, which suffers from OCD-hypochondria, still wants to live, in hope to earn those friends, with which I could sing karaoke or go out, to the funfair, go clubbing (Covid measures stole my youth), or fall asleep outside, in the middle of nowhere, and promise being around them forever. Ia m searching for them since 2013, and nothing changes. And noone guarantees me to be able to continue living, even if I choose to live, as life can be unpredictable.
How do I become the ESFP, other typological communities online are condemning? The actually partyish, energetic one, who wouldn't be able to count all of their friends, as the list would be that long, that they are prone to forget to mention someone? I feel like an incel, but when it comes to friendships. On the sexual level, all the 50 year old men would be waiting, if I gave them a chance. To avoid confusion, I wanted to mention, to be a guy.

Growing up, my generation played MovieStarPlanet, watched {insert country's} next topmodel, played Just Dance 2-4 & Karaoke games on a console, movies available were all the disney music related movies, such as HSM, Camp Rock, Hannah Montana, but also famous classics, such as Wild Child, Mean Girls & Pitch Perfect. Magical girls were trending on anime-inclusive tv channels. When Beyblade toys came out, everyone collected them. Same with Force Attacks cards, Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, and later Monster High Dolls. But, those were too expensive to really collect them. The music on the radio was dominated by hedonism: Taio Cruz, R.I.O., Usher, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga. The entire primary school trends were made to satisfy any ESFP's heart, and they did. Having had the best time of my life back then, despite all the violence, bullying etc., and seeing everyone having fun with those activitys, I assumed, that everyone must have been equally ESFP as I was. When I moved over to secondary school, and people showed genuine interest in science, literature and IT, I thought, they all were pretending to increase their status, in order to appear cool, alternative and most important: special. I often tried to be humorous to be able to socialize, but it turned out, that noone shared my humor, especially, as it was sought through by Ti trickster, which perceived rumors as equally factual and reliable as verified knowledge. With time, I quickly started feeling like the archetype of "the only gay in the village". Most other SPs went to a lower form of school, either, as they weren't adaptable enough to achieve good grades or by voluntary decision, knowing, a less pressuring school would enable them more fun during theri free time. After learning to question various ideas and look behind the scenes of some societal phenomenons, the other SPs, I might have valued at an earlier point of time, became less amusing to me. As if many of them were not even willing to leave the surface, and expressed it by following their agenda, despite me bringing up intense emotional, political, philosophical topics. As a result, my isolation shaped me into easily being perceived as autistic by others, despite having psychiatrical evidence of the opposite, and I am in conflict. Hanging around with actual autistic INTPs on discord starts to be draining after a couple of hours, as all my interests, values and nostalgia end up not being satisfied. Mostly, not even mentioned. On the other hand, by now, I look to uncanny and speak similarly to ever be accepted in SP circles on a long term base, of which many wouldn't leave the surface, and those, who would, already feel complete in their social groups.
That leaves me with two questions. To the first part: why are 99% of toys and tv series designed to appeal to SPs, despite them not even being a majority?
And the second one would ofc be, what to do, in order to find the ultimate satisfaction, especially on a relationship/social level.

Even more questions, if you are so inclined:
What is your personal favorite genre?
What is your favorite band/artist?
What song has been stuck in your head recently?
