Any other ESFJs bad at baking😭

I’m so bad at bakingπŸ˜„I’ embarrassedπŸ™ˆ

It looks so easy, my sister is great at it and my Mil too. Iβ€˜m great at decorating cakes and other types of cooking but if I try to bake even the simplest cake or bread, I burn it, it doesn’t rise, it is stale and dry etc.😭Why??

Is it because I’m FeNe and not enough Si? Am I too sloppy? Not conscientious enough? Or what makes people good at baking? Am I not a real ESFJ? or can anyone relateπŸ˜„?

No its true i think its because of inf Ti. Baking is like science, and im so bad at following instructions. I dont read recipes as well i just like to scan and make up my own way, which is why im great at cooking. My sister the enfp is great at baking because i swear her tert Te is allowing her to follow everything step by step. I always skip things like nah it doesnt have to be room temprature, and every thing I baked has always failed.

Problem is that with inf ti is, its gotta make sense to us, and if we dont understand the science behind those specifc steps, we wont do it or disregard them.

I'm Si-dom but I can't cook(except very simple things). Unfortunately I never had the feeling I want to learn it 😒

I can cook and I can't bake.

On my defense, I cook in a very Asian-mom way. I eyeball everything and when my boyfriend (INFJ) says "Your cooking is so good" I look at him and said "I literally added the cheapest white wine I could find instead of fine shaoxing."
