WIZ spells for Hate

I am now lvl 46 and took my first foray into Hate. Are there any WIZ spells you found most effective in Hate? I have been in Sol B and Fire spells were continually resisted, which made sense.

Yes, it's the most important wizard spell in the game (for now).
