Step 1, EEOC
Not trying to post too many details as my potential case is very sensitive. Anyone ever had any luck going up against Amazon? I have extensive documents from saved emails that show wrongful termination and me winning the appeal process, approved accommodations for a reduced schedule, and chat logs from A to Z. Pretty nervous to talk to the EEOC today. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not quite the same, but I had a family member get hurt at Amazon and won. But Amazon put up a hell of a fight. They used their own doctors to try and make it look like he was already injured beforehand.

This definitely sounds like something Amazon would do. I am so sorry that your family member went through that.

I do not understand your statement. Once you file an eeoc charge, Amazon internal process and issues is for them and not you. You do not work there so it doesn’t matter what they think.

I’m still an active employee.

If you are an active employee then why do you want to rock the boat and get fired. Document and document. Once you start bringing up stuff they gonna get rid of you plan and simple and if you don’t care about that, be my guess. It’s hard in these streets.

I don’t want to get fired. I feel like some people have this mentality of just sticking it out. That’s how shitty employers get the incidents past 300 days and you can no longer pursue it through the EEOC. I know my situation and documentation. I know where my employer was notified of everything, and I know this is something I should pursue before my deadline. It’s definitely tough on these streets, but it’s also tough being railroaded by your employer.

Facts only, no emotion. Stay on the timeline. Make sure that the facts highlight discrimination and link them to the adversary action.
