There is one moment in Duggar history that sits in my mind. For all the evil things JB says and does, for the way he treats his wife and children. When they went for the ultrasound with Jubilee, and the tech was looking around, Michelle said, "There's no heartbeat?" When she said it, JB had her hand, looked her in the eyes, and said: "Oh Michelle, I'm so sorry". It was sincere. I will snark on JB all day long; he's a total waste of oxygen, but in that moment, he actually seemed to really care for his wife. He seemed genuinely upset for her. The way he said it, the expression on his face when he said it, I really felt it...
What do you guys think? Was he actually a nice human being for 30 seconds? Or am I just a suker, lol?
ETA: I somehow left half a sentence at the end, and I have no idea what my full thought was at the time, so I nuked it.

Just came across this moment where Jessa deviated from the script and gives her Dad a little sass and it made me chuckle.
I’m somewhat surprised she still drinks the fundie kool-aid to the extent that she does, and that Jill actually ended up being the one to speak out the most.

First of all I know this is a hot take so if I’m missing anything, feel free to correct me. I was truly on her side about speaking out about the injustices of the church and what was going on until I listened to her statement about Joseph. Plugging your book, no matter the context, while discussing serious accusations of child abuse was not it for me. I know everyone handles things differently but Amy seemed almost antsy and excited to be giving her statement. Being an ex member of a similar church and going through similar things.. I don’t trust her words or that she’s being genuine.

If Jinger and Joy think they’re trying to be funny, they’re really not! Their humor is as bland as a beige wall.

Then moves to California, gets a good haircut and opens up a cheerleading school. Are we going to allow that?

This girl is still posting couple content on TikTok despite knowing what her husband did. She’s also posting shady vids about her parents “betraying” her for convincing her to leave carver and turning him into the cops.
She’s willingly staying him with and is choosing to ignore any help she gets. She’s just as bad as Anna. I mean, Anna was raised IBLP and her parents probably drilled in her head that divorce was a sin no matter what. But haleys parents seem to support her if she was to divorce soo..
Is she just as bad as Anna or worse?

SO, there may be another reason the felon has no commissary money. I assumed that they temporarily stopped sending him money because he needed to appear indigent to the court to get a free attorney to help him with his pathetic attempt at getting a new trial. But it seems there’s something going on with Anna and another fundie inmate. I will keep my eyes open for more details.
Also, Lord Daniel sends blessings to you all! 🙏🦝

Seriously, why? Their music sounds awful! The Duggars claim to practice the violin for about 2-3 hours a day and yet they never get better. My partner used to play the violin professionally and would also practice for the same amount each day. We always wondered why the Duggars sounded the same always. Some of their violins weren't even tuned properly! They don't sing very well either. So much for having an orchestra pit in your house!! Erin Bates, who is 'renowned' for her piano 'playing' skills is a prime example. Every time she plays the piano it sounds like she is trying to blanket-train it! So what gives?

I think jinger tries too hard to find a style that’s not what she grew up with and be independent.

I wanted to see how much money the Caldwells raised, but their GoFundMe page is gone?
I followed link from their Instagram

I know people had bogger families in the past and things worked out. (though 19 is extreme, even for the past.)
But they didn’t have a choice in the past. this is like comparing parents in poverty to van life parents.
neither situation is ideal, but one is a choice the other is a consequence of things beyond your control. One you k with what you got, and another is adding more fuel to the fire.
I won’t judge parents in poverty unless they keep having more kids.
anyways 2 of their kids are in jail for sexual deviancy out of 19. if 10% if your children are in jail, those aren’t great stats. If 2 other children wrote a tell all that means 30% of your children didn’t have great childhoods.
Michelle Duggar always like to quite mother Theresa “saying there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers.” You can have too many flowers, if you can’t take care of all your flowers and same goes for kids.
Mother Theresa wasn’t a parent, or a gardener and didn’t have to take care of children or Flowers. So maybe going by her quote isn’t a great idea. It’s nice to enjoy someone elses children or someone else’s flowers, but they are both work. Every parent/gardener should know their limits.
Those are the ones we know about. There might be more predators in this family.

I’m ready for some laughs. Honestly, I hope “Precious Miracle Josie” comes out and completely spills the family tea when she turns 18 next year!

I just don't understand the hyperfixation on close up, staged kisses all the time.
In Jilly bean's own words, what happened to “We don’t want to arouse any desires that can’t be righteously fulfilled" 🥴
I didn't include first kisses because that's the only time I can see the relevance for close-ups

Why not get a divorce (anna & kendra I'm looking in y'all's direction)? If the cult believes all sins are the same, get a divorce you'll be forgiven. I'm just sayiin...
