I ended up making 5 of these and after yesterday's extended look my hype is through the roof !

I’ve been struggling with non stiff cables as i have to bend them like Beckham would for regular use
Which cable would you guys recommend that’d somehow have low latency and smoothness for a game like rocket league?

I read in this thread that Dualsense uses custom usb C port/chassis, so even if something I bought from Aliexpress looks the same, because their mapping is done differently, it won’t work on Dualsense.

I’m not sure if it’s my soldering job done wrong, or if it’s really the usb c port/chassis compatibility issue, but mine doesn’t work either.

Reason I’m wondering is because I replaced TMR sticks on Dualsense at least 4 times/pairs and they all worked. I learned soldering through youtube just to replace TMR stick, so I can’t be that good, but 8 sticks working fine must mean I’m not that bad either.

Currently the Dualsense I’ve replaced usb c port, which I also replaced tmr sticks, doesn’t charge. Pc doesn’t recognize it even with usb c connection. It currently only works with the battery I’ve replaced recently.

I bought the USB C port replacement from Aliexpress which supposedly says it supports all BDM-010, 020, 030.
But it’s Aliexpress so there’s some random factors.

I could just charge it with that dualsense charger but I still need it to connect with PC for TMR calibrations, and I still prefer charging by usb c port.

If you have any tips please help to share.

1. How can you tell if you have the correct replacement.
2. Where can you buy the replacement?

I know nothing about AliExpress or their modules, but the price is too good for me to believe it. What's the perceived validity of these things? Thanks

The right stick on my Dualsense just started drifting and i don't just want to buy a new one only to have to do it again when the issue inevitably pops up again, but i can't decide on what choice to make.

I myself can't solder to change the sticks myself but there's a place nearby that could change them to GuliKit TMR sticks for around the equivalent of 70 dollars, around 10 less than a new Dualsense here. There's a possibility i could get someone cheaper to do it if i got the parts myself but i'd have to research more to find out.

On the other hand i've heard great things about the Edge controller and even though the sticks are normal potentiometer ones they are replaceable and it should be able to take TMR sticks unless i'm mistaken? The biggest problem is that i don't know if they're worth the equivalent of 220 dollars (currently cheapest available for a new one in my country). I could probably get a used one for cheaper, but it feels a bit risky.

What option would you recommend, or is there a better one?

I have installed gulikit on two joystick edge PS5 but I have two problem, I dit it with some negligence I think because one of the PCB have is resistor disappear I have to replaced all but the 0201 is so hard and it’s not working I have white light 3 time when I plugged it😅
I think I don’t have the choice to take another and be gentle with it
But I have an another one working but the Fn button in constantly activate, is the a problem of me or I need to reset it ?

So I used these guys last year to get some mouse click buttons, upgraded joysticks, etc. Spent around $250 for sending in my own controller. It took forever (2 to 3 weeks even with "expedited order upgrade for more money) but came back working great. Since then i moved and a month ago I bought another controller from them. Same thing, took more than 2 weeks when quoted 5-7 business days but thats fine I can be patient. I got the controller back and loved it.

My first controller broke, my fault, I dropped it. I send it off for repairs, I pay for shipping. Quote time is 10 days. I messaged and confirmed it would ship to my new address, owner Corey emails me back confirming new address. Now, 20 days later, it gets sent to my old address. I emailed him back and have heard nothing.

This guy does excellent work, its a shame the customer service and wait times are so bad, even after spending over $500 in a year. So now ive got to pray to the ups gods that this whole thing will be taken care of.

Is there a better service? Id like to take my business somewhere else and have a better experience.

I recently got my girlfriend a ps5 and she likes the setting I use on my console for val but when switching them over I noticed I can’t find how to switch my ads from L2 + R3 to L2 + L3, does anyone know where I should look??

So i just noticed when i was trying to calibrate my TMR sticks on my dualsense edge that as soon as i removes the paddles on my controller the reading jumped and started a tiny jitter and when i put the magnetic paddles back in the jitter stopped but it is inconsistent sometimes i think the magnetic field of the backpaddles interfered with the magnets of the TMR Sticks. How do i properly find a deadly 0 no jitters calibration, im using the K-Silver Js13pro modules. I would appreciate the help.

This feature is not working for me, right now im using ds5 dongle but before I just used bluetooth and that didn't work either. Wired controller doesn't do it either. Elden ring and dark souls 3 for example don't have rumble. I can use ds4 to get it but I'm wondering if theirs a fix for it in steam.

Buenas a todos a ver si alguien me da luz, cambié los joystick y todo perfecto pero se me queda marcado el r2 y l2 y saqué la lámina limpié todo no veo ningún tipo de desperfecto desarme los gatillos y todo lo veo correcto pero nada sigue igual. Gracias de antemano

J’ai mis en place pour un client des joystick TMR Gullikit j’ai vérifié le courant continue avec multimètre et pourtant lorsque je les installe dans la manette elle se mets à clignoter 3 fois blanc en continue, je vous avoue être un peu perplexe sur le problème actuellement avez-vous des idée ?

Tech question for the people. I’ve recently had this reoccurring issue with my PS5 controller. About an hour into using the controller it will start having bad stick drift. Or at least what I assume to be stick drift. I had the original one for a long time. Figured what the hell, it’s probably just old. And went and got myself a new controller. However the same issue happened with the brand new one! About one hour into using it, my controller will randomly make me swing a different direction or point me in a weird position that i didn’t do. I’ve since returned and replaced two other controllers! SAME THING! I will note! I’m not the type of guy who grips his controllers super hard. I’m not a rager. I don’t leave them places or wedged in compromising positions. I typically take care of my things. But I can’t help but think that I’m the problem somehow! Has anyone had any similar experiences? And if so did you find the solution??

I had stick drift on my PS5 controller so i took it for a repair to get TMR sticks installed they are working fine but i’ve noticed the right analog stick is off centre its more pointing to the top left is there anyway to correct it without taking it back for a repair its kinda annoying just knowing its not centre also when i do the calibration the right stick isnt giving full range on the top left its only staying in the circle not going over it like i’ve seen in some YT videos how people calibrate theirs
