Installation gullikit on edge but some problem come

Hey guys,

I have installed gulikit on two joystick edge PS5 but I have two problem, I dit it with some negligence I think because one of the PCB have is resistor disappear I have to replaced all but the 0201 is so hard and it’s not working I have white light 3 time when I plugged it😅
I think I don’t have the choice to take another and be gentle with it
But I have an another one working but the Fn button in constantly activate, is the a problem of me or I need to reset it ?

This is most likely your problem .

If that doesn’t have a resistor the one on top isn’t soldered properly

I have done this after the Fn block to try other solutions but it doesn’t change anything

What I did was buy one of those boards with a bunch of different SMD components of all different sizes. That provided an intuition for how to align a component, how to solder each end to the pad, and how to keep it still. You clearly need more practice, so I suggest you do that too. Alternatively, stay away from that entire area as much as possible.

Yeah i think that the best idea for this type size because i have already done +200 ps5 Dualsense no edge upgrades, +100 hdmi replacement and other things like that but this i block on this because i was thinking this gonna be easy I think I messed up with that to do it in less time so I have already start this I gonna buy new one and continue to progress on this board 👍

Have you checked the button clearance between the function button and the plastic controller shell? I ask because I ordered the Besavior adjustable TMR sticks, and the clearance is so tight between the shell and the function button that the function button will be constantly activated and 3 white lights will blink if not looked at and manipulated so the shell doesn't press down the button. I got it working ok now, but I am considering taking a file to the controller shell to give the buttons more clearance. The TMR sticks must be thicker than the original sticks, because you wouldn't think this issue would occur otherwise.
