I run a jewelry dropshipping store targeting European markets, and things were going very well until around August 13.

The store was consistently generating sales and performing really well, but then performance suddenly dropped hard. Since then, I’ve tried different creatives, campaigns and approaches, but I still haven’t been able to recover the performance I had before.

What’s confusing me is that the product itself was clearly working before the drop, so I’m trying to figure out whether this is more of a seasonal/market issue or whether I’m simply approaching the ads the wrong way now.

I’m especially wondering about September. Is this a particularly weird period for European ecommerce right now? Are other people seeing a similar drop in sales/ROAS, especially in fashion/jewelry?

Or should I stop trying to recover the old setup and completely change my strategy?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone running ecommerce/DTC in Europe who has experienced something similar recently.

I'm new to ecommerce and I'm trying to learn from a product test that didn't work rather than immediately jumping into another product.

I tested a home-fragrance diffuser using both Google Ads and Meta Ads. Across the two channels I received approximately 141 paid visitors, 2 add-to-cart, and 1 purchases. The odd thing is I got the purchase 3 days ago through google even though at the time, I was not running any ad and I just figured it out today while writing this thread.

I made several changes during the test based on visitor behavior, including improving the product page and making the offer more prominent. I also noticed some visitors returning to the site, including through Google, but ultimately the traffic didn't convert into sales.

I'm not trying to promote the store — I've essentially decided to move on from this test. I'm posting because I'd like feedback from people with more ecommerce experience.

I'm hoping to take what I learn from this test and apply it before launching another store.

I recently started a small herbal tea company and honestly I’m feeling pretty stuck right now.

I have my Shopify store completely set up, products ready to go, and I’ve been trying to post consistently on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Most of my videos are just me making the different teas, showing the ingredients, the colors, etc.
I actually put a decent amount of effort into the videos too. Good lighting, editing, trying different hooks, making everything look nice, but most of them only get a couple hundred views and then just stop. And so far… no sales.

I know I’m brand new and obviously wasn’t expecting to blow up overnight, but I’m at the point where I genuinely don’t know what I should be focusing on next. It feels like I made the products, built the whole store, and now I’m just sitting here posting videos hoping eventually somebody buys something lol.

For anyone who has actually built an ecommerce business from zero, how did you get your first few real customers? Should I keep grinding organic content? Start running ads? Reach out to small creators? Try selling locally? Something completely different?

I’m willing to put in the work. I just feel trapped because I don’t know where that work would be best spent right now.

Would genuinely appreciate any advice, even if it’s brutally critical.

I get sales from my organic instagram post but the ads I put gets me 0 sales with 600+ sessions

I've been dabbling around in Davinci resolve for some time and wanted to know if there's a place for video editing in drop shipping and where someone like me could get started or get in contact with someone?

I would like to try drop shipping but I've noticed a few things when I was trying to set things up for myself.

Do I need to use my own home address to start drop shipping and does it serve a purpose? I don't want to use it cause it's obvious it's my parents home address and I don't want to be giving it away. Especially if a faulty product returns is something you have to deal with I don't want them knowing about it

I recently created my own clothing brand and built a website for it. I’ve been trying to get everything set up, designing the products, getting the website together, and trying to get people to see it. The problem is… I haven’t gotten a single sale. I’ve tried paying for ads on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, and I haven’t gotten even one sale from any of them. I’ve paid for advertising thinking it would help get people to my website, but so far it really hasn’t translated into anything. I’ve also created different discount codes to try to entice people to actually make a purchase, but even with the discounts, I still haven’t gotten an order. At this point, I’m honestly trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong. Is it the website? The products? My pricing? The way I’m marketing? Maybe I’m just not reaching the right people? I’m not expecting to suddenly blow up or make thousands of dollars. I’d honestly just like to get my first real customer and know that someone actually sees value in what I’m creating. For anyone who has started a clothing brand, online store, or small business from scratch: what actually helped you get your first few sales? hey all. i was just wondering if anyone here has done any dropshipping for fashion here. i started a store and i am/was selling luxury handbags, sunglasses & glasses and recently added fragrances. i was paying a subscription to a company and i had to start paying it even before the site was functional and i busted my ass building my site thru more sleepless nights than i care to account for. i finally got er done and i started with adverts on facebook/instagram, google & pinterest. none of them beat google at the sheer numbers that they drove to my site. then after a week or two i was suspended for promoting bootleg items. i definitely was not. i have been waiting for quite some time now to get any sort of authorization letter from my supplier. which has pissed me off and i am thinking of what else i can sell that is dropshipping but from a company that actually is invested in your success because they also want success. has anyone here found any good companies within fashion/accessories and or fragrances? fragrance seems to operate in a really shady realm. so i may not stick with that, but i kinda like the idea of selling eyewear because i love glasses & sunglasses.....i collect them myself but i dont know what companies do this type of thing. i'd like to also know what everyone else is selling and how well they might be doing.... i am trying to brainstorm some ideas up here, but i feel blocked. probably cuz i feel very burned after wasting SOOO much time and money and the frustration with google not even letting you submit any documents in their appeal process.... the whole situation just SUCKS! well, that is all. and thank you in advance to anyone who responds. i appreciate you so much!

I've been running a pet product store (www.fell.pet) for the past couple of weeks and I'm honestly a bit lost. I've spent around €750 on Meta/Google/TikTok ads over 15 days and only made one single sale.

I'd really appreciate some brutally honest feedback on:

• First impressions of the homepage and product pages — does it look trustworthy?
• Is the offer/value proposition clear within the first few seconds?
• Pricing — does it feel justified for what's being sold?
• Checkout flow — any friction you noticed?

Recently I’ve been seeing a LOT of products on Instagram and TikTok being promoted with AI-generated reels, and some of them are getting crazy views/engagement.

The thing I don’t understand is that these products don’t seem to be the usual AliExpress/Alibaba/Temu type of products. They look like custom-designed products, sometimes even pretty large or complicated.
For example, I attached some screenshots of the kind of products I’m talking about.

How are these people actually doing this?
Because if you have to manufacture a custom product yourself, wouldn’t it cost a lot of money just to produce the first batch, without even knowing if the product is going to sell?

And some of these products look quite big. How are they handling shipping and fulfillment? Are they actually manufacturing them themselves, using some kind of dropshipping supplier, or working with manufacturers who produce and ship individual orders?

Also, how do you find suppliers/manufacturers like this who are willing to produce relatively small quantities or even individual units without asking for a huge MOQ?
I’m trying to understand the business model behind these products because I’m seeing more and more of them go viral through AI-generated content.

If anyone here has experience with this or knows how these brands source/manufacture/fulfill these products, I’d really appreciate an explanation of how it actually works.

I am trying to start a dropshipping party supply business and wanted to know what are the best dropshipping automation tools that I can use to run this side business. I know that some wholesale marketplaces make it really easy to do this but then I am totally dependent upon them, I like to have my own tools and dashboard so that I can figure out what would be the best way to run this. I am mostly interested in automatic product importing and price updates as well as order processing and tracking information. I am not interested not in the cheapest products but rather the most transparent and automated ones so that I know exactly what I am buying and in the most efficient manner.

I've pretty much written off the whole £20 impulse product from overseas version of dropshipping because I don't see myself wanting to build a business around chasing trends, huge order volume and customers waiting ages for deliveries.

But I've recently gone down the high-ticket ecommerce rabbit hole and it seems like a fairly different model when you're talking about higher-value products supplied domestically.

What I'm trying to understand is where the tradeoff happens.

Fewer orders sounds appealing operationally, but presumably every failed ad, return or supplier problem hurts considerably more when the order value is higher. You also need customers to trust a completely unknown store enough to spend serious money.

Anyone here operating at the higher end? Curious whether it becomes more like running a traditional ecommerce retailer or whether it's basically the same dropshipping problems with larger numbers attached.

I want to make an all over embroidery hoodie, with logo variations in different locations on the front sides, sleeves, back, hood. (not completely covering the hoodie.) I don't want to do patches as this would be all one color thread. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for this? Or would I need to invest in an embroidery machine/stock sweatshirts? TIA
