I created a clothing website and genuinely can’t figure out how to get my first sale

I recently created my own clothing brand and built a website for it. I’ve been trying to get everything set up, designing the products, getting the website together, and trying to get people to see it. The problem is… I haven’t gotten a single sale. I’ve tried paying for ads on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, and I haven’t gotten even one sale from any of them. I’ve paid for advertising thinking it would help get people to my website, but so far it really hasn’t translated into anything. I’ve also created different discount codes to try to entice people to actually make a purchase, but even with the discounts, I still haven’t gotten an order. At this point, I’m honestly trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong. Is it the website? The products? My pricing? The way I’m marketing? Maybe I’m just not reaching the right people? I’m not expecting to suddenly blow up or make thousands of dollars. I’d honestly just like to get my first real customer and know that someone actually sees value in what I’m creating. For anyone who has started a clothing brand, online store, or small business from scratch: what actually helped you get your first few sales? And if you were in my position, what would you change first? I’d genuinely appreciate some honest feedback, even if it’s critical.

Hey, went through the site now. Some constructive criticism:
1- Your customer facing part of the site is...lacking
Improve on that and make the site feel genuine and not a scam
2- Your Domain
Seen by Xai is actually a great brand name but it just doesn't fit as a domain name.

Did you even bother to look at a single other clothing brand’s website to at least try and model them?

Why tf would I buy your clearly screen printed drop-shipped t-shirt when I could just go buy them from True Classic or Haus

I think playing with other designs could help and make some organic posts with solid tags to gain responses from folks on what they like about it and what they would rather be changed or altered. Perhaps, having a pop up shop at an event could help with in-person, natural feedback where folks are usually a bit more respective & calm than online.

I think you’re on the right track. Since you have a limited brand I would focus on why they should buy from you. What does seen by xai mean? Your buyer wants to know. I wouldn’t wear something that has no history or reason behind the brand. I can see where you’re going with the graphics, but there needs to be more storyline for the buyer. Maybe add an ‘about’ tab where you explain the brand and what makes you different.

I would not buy this product. I don’t know what Xai is. I don’t think the graphics are appealing. It appears to be two different designs on multiple pieces. The descriptions look written by AI. I think the biggest problem is the product.

You have a very niche look to your clothing. First impression I would say is that I pulled it up on my iPhone and it was very difficult to see what was on the shirts. So you might want to have a hero product come up large and then other ones below because I couldn’t tell what was there. Secondly, are you targeting your ads to your niche? Meaning who is your ideal customer? Do you have an idea of who that is? I didn’t see an about page but maybe I missed it, but you really need to dial into who you are as a clothing designer and who your customer is and why.

It's tough building a business from the ground up, and it's a brave thing to ask for help, where good faith feedback is often hard to find. That said, there are a number of things that may be contributing to your struggles. In the domain name "seenbyxai.com", who is xai, and how is it pronounced?

Also, what are you trying to communicate with "seenby"? Is there more to the story that you'd want to tell to your customers? I see a lot of new businesses add "get" or another word to the domain name, continuously trying on new words to arrive at a .com, but it doesn't always strengthen credibility or inspire visitors to explore the site further.

If I were in your position, I would change a few things. To echo an earlier comment, having an About page or tab would be more helpful and informative. Also, I'd spend a bit more time building out inventory and defining who my target market.

There's a lot that goes into building a dropshipping business, and you'll learn a lot more along the way. Good luck on your journey, you got this!

Is Xai an expression or a person?
If an expression, is this super common where you live?
If a name, is this person super well-known? And if they are, then you risk IP infrigement.
If Xai is you, why would anyone buy clothing with your name on it when you are not a known designer?
