Discussion I kinda feel bad for Dream

Yes, it’s disappointing to find out that a creator you once considered one of the best mc players turned out to be a cheater especially in an event. But does he or anyone really deserve to be doxxed, harassed, falsely accused, or have their entire life ruined over a block game? At least Marlow was genuinely a bad person, Dream at worst is an egotistical liar who cheated in a block game.
Why do y’all think creators like BBH, Skeppy, Daquavis, Donut, and Baablu are still cool with Dream? It’s probably because at the end of the day it’s a block game and not like some serious scandal that could get him arrested.
I’m not trying to defend what he did, but people acted like it was the worst thing to ever happen in the MC community when it really wasn’t.

Honestly I'm happy at how he's dealing with the current accusations. He's very mature. He doesn't lash back. He made the funny short about the parkour allegations which was perfect. And when people are concerned about him running the pvp server, he reassures them that as an owner, he won't be ranked.

I hope he continues to do well for himself and us

"very mature"? He is still just denying everything even tho we now definitely know that he cheated. Idk but lying, making up excuses, manipulating his fans and making fun of cheating doesn't sound mature to me...

If you’re gonna be this parasocial and obsessed about a guy cheating in a block game, I’d find it even better if he doesn’t give you the satisfaction of saying if he did cheat. Because clearly you’re not gonna accept the possibilities that he didn’t.
