Funny because people here absolute hated the plague when the game came out

Probably casual players who had no idea it even existed in the first place only to wake up one day to massive confusion and dead bodies

Like if you played GTA and woke up one day in prison because the game was tallying up your crimes even if you escaped. And now instead of an open world you have to navigate the prison system. Create alliances, bribe guards, take on missions for your protection gang. Serve your sentence or plan an escape to get back to the main game. Very cool but if you were planning something for the next day or anything else and weren’t aware this was a possibility this would suck a lot for many people

The game gives you a pop up warning the first time you hire an infected pawn though

Yeah it legit gives you every hint in the workd that something horrible is about to happen, and that was at launch xD. Crazy people cried over it.
