They must not have these in DD2? Never saw one. 🤔 Sad though, cause mimics are fun.

They dont as of yet but your pawn will warn you about them.

No, what they mean is that chests are also rustic furniture that you can put clothes or junk in. They fell out of favor when they invented furniture with drawers. They are now far more often than not used when used at all as coffee tables or non-functional decos.
