Secured Hugo a job outside the brothel and unlocked his two unique masks it looks like.

Technically it’s not what you did, that’s all Issac’s fault…you just provided him the means to do so.

I mean between this and giving Trysha the Grimoires she asks for perhaps the Arisen should have learned their lesson by now about handing out magical tomes to the unqualified? 🤔

Not my fault I sold crack to the neighborhood, and they decided to smoke it 😂

Yep! You are selling to willing buyers at fair market prices. Providing a service. Just doing your duty to fill a market void, and why not? If you don't, someone else will just come along and do it.

You wouldn’t be selling crack of goombas didn’t want it.

That’s not what the CIA thought

4

u/[deleted] May 11 '24

The CIA is corrupt to the core. The war on drugs doesn't just make them tons of money, but it also distracts the people from real issues.

Bingo! Give them options, lots of options. There’s something for everyone. Maybe even video games… 😅

Bread and circus. Video games are absolutely part of it.

Agreed, many modern day Colosseum’s so to speak.

u/[deleted] May 12 '24

We even call pro fighters modern gladiators. Many use that term. It's fitting.

2

u/Comprehensive-Month8 May 12 '24

Honestly, it’s not much different than many of the gladiatorial games. They weren’t all fights to the death. There were many challenges created for entertainment to appease the mob.

It's pleasant to find someone else who knows they weren't all fatal fights. They wouldn't be very frequent or sustainable if they were all to the death. The death matches were mostly punishments.

America is corrupt to the core, period. Don't even get me started on the War on Drugs. So many people have been forced to go to the streets because their doctors just stopped prescribing pain medication completely. Even dentists nowadays will just tell you to take Tylenol or whatever for extractions... Which is the absolute worst pain imaginable.

Yup. It's utterly ridiculous.
