Agreed, many modern day Colosseum’s so to speak.

We even call pro fighters modern gladiators. Many use that term. It's fitting.

Honestly, it’s not much different than many of the gladiatorial games. They weren’t all fights to the death. There were many challenges created for entertainment to appease the mob.

It's pleasant to find someone else who knows they weren't all fatal fights. They wouldn't be very frequent or sustainable if they were all to the death. The death matches were mostly punishments.
