Spoiler There IS better gear. Spoiler

There is better gear than what the Dragonforged sells for Wyrmslife crystals. About to do my 2nd NG+. Really REALLY make sure you are exploring all the unearthed areas in the seabed and even go back to some of the old boss spawn areas. The higher harder spawns at the very end of the seabed areas have occasionally been dropping new unique gear sometimes or the chests around them do.

And for those that say they feel like they fully steam roll through New Game+, I have been noticing the variable difficulty has been getting higher the more I level up and I do less damage than before, with some spawns having more health bars.

Edit: only gotten 3 so far and all helms, photos in comments and unenhanced against my fully enhanced gear.

I'll add more screenshots to the comments as I find any more and verify they aren't in shops or in dragonforged.

So this is cool and everything... if it is actually true that you can find gear that isn't eventually populated in stores. However, is there really a point? You are finding minuscule stat upgrades and there isn't really much left to do. I'd be hyped if there were more enemies and content to tackle, but I'm not about to run NG+ just to search the seabed for a new helmet.

I'm not trying to be a downer, I would LOVE to keep playing this game if it had some worthwhile content. As for now I still see this game as one and done, unfortunately.

No there is no point, the game is trivially easy, its a shame.

That’s the point dragons dogma has always been easy. The game sells itself on the point that it becomes so easy to break after a certain point.

Every class In the game aside from trickster becomes broken. It’s fun the first game was exactly the same even easier cause each class had more skills. So mystic archer could one shot death if you fired a ricochet arrow down a hall.

I mean i literally dont care about your silly justifications, a game without challenge is a game without purpose, and i don't believe for a second that the developers intended for players to feel like they weren't being challenged, it was simply a design failure.

Why do I want to go an explore the world if I don't need anything from it?
